<div align=center>"Mhm." Jericho replied almost dreamily, his mind actually requiring effort to keep himself focused. In scenarios and environments like this he felt at peace, and wanted to enjoy it to the fullest extent. Though not in the way he had in mind, he felt as if he was by at least having someone to talk to. Sometimes total solitude just intimidated him.

"Ah, really? Wish I could do that. Maybe I should get nighttime classes, because I'm not even awake during my morning ones." He chuckled a bit to further lighten the mood. "Makes sense anyway. You're like an owl or something." The comment was made with a soft tone, observant as it was harmless.

When Ettein clarified that he could ask questions, he immediately knew what they were referring to. Huh, in that case he must have gotten that a lot. Jericho inhaled sharply before asking. "Okay good because I'm not sure if I should refer to you as sir or ma'am or...." He cut himself off almost immediately, knowing that despite the permission he was granted. He reached up to almost face palm, but instead rubbed his temples."Gah Jesus that was really rude wasn't it... Okay I swear I'm not a complete asshole I promise..." His shaken up confidence was covered up by a sheepish yet slightly embarrassed smile. "Yeah, really sorry about that." He apologized while trying to keep his cool, though it was clear his words were flustered. It was an embarrassing/potentially hurtful question to ask, which is why he felt so damn bad about it. Hopefully he wouldn't be punched in the face. Then again it was most likely to happen. </div>

Ettein couldn't help but smile at the others 'owl comment'. "Something like that." He agreed, falling silent for a long moment as the other gave his response to his last statement. It was at least more interesting and even amusing that the typical way people went about asking him when they did. He even seemed embarrassed about it and it was actually kind of cute.

"Technically, either or would work." He shrugged nonchalantly and with a smile, as though he wasn't bothered by it at all. "I prefer male pronouns, if you will.....not that you need to be so polite as to say 'sir' though..." Actually, he wasn't sure about the use of 'sir' or 'ma'am', as he never liked either...it just felt too 'fancy' and made him feel old and not to mention uncomfortable when the latter was used. He is male, even if his genetics say something else entirely, he is but it's difficult to prove that when you look like this. "And don't be sorry...I said I wouldn't be offended, didn't I?"

<div align=center>Well, as the truth revealed itself, Jericho felt a strange sense of... Relief. He wasn't pressed for one way or another and certainly didn't mind that he was physically in between. So, it wasn't due to that. He was relieved out of the fact that a) Ettein didn't mind the question and b) he was confident in his own identity. So he considered himself a boy? Well, it was a pleasant thing to see that he was certain of himself and had figured out who he was as a person. That was already a trait Jericho admired in other people.

"Well, thank you Ettein for telling me... And you know, not wanting to hurt me after a really badly phrased question." He still was beating himself up about that. "Good. Not partial to 'sir' myself." It looked like they had that in common. He felt the term of address was mainly used against him whenever he was in trouble. Eep. He smiled at the other boy, visibly less tense and feeling now properly acquainted with him.

Due to this, a further bit of his personality showed through, feeling better knowing that he could address him properly. He lowered his voice, a testy yet light grin on his face. "But pssst, just between you and me, you're one of the better looking boys in this school, and that's putting it lightly." Whether or not he was just teasing wasn't clear, though a slight tone in his voice indicated some sincerity despite the wink he gave off. A flirt like always. But ultimately, he brushed it off.

"So, you into anything cool here?" He rolled his shoulders once more, cracking his neck a bit. "I'm just sorta new is all. Ain't ever a bad idea to try to get to know more people. Besides..." He looked to his guitar, then back to him. "I'm sure there are far more interesting people than this lame ole guitar playing beatnik."</div>

"Actually, I'm surprised you yourself don't want to hurt me or aren't disgusted or something." He said admitted, running a hand through his hair.

"Usually when guys find out I'm not really a girl like they thought, they get angry...I mean, I'm not really a guy either...well...I am...but it's really difficult to convince someone that when you....well have both under-bits." He shifted a bit uncomfortably, not having realized he had gone on a ramble. It was mostly an unconscious thing, almost unsure if the other really understood what he had meant and exploiting it further to be sure. After all, he hadn't expected this kind of a reaction and...and then he was complimented and he couldn't help the light shade of pink his cheeks turned. He wasn't usually like this; embarrassed easily or flustered with his words...what was wrong with him tonight? Perhaps it was the fact that he was sitting with a rather attractive guy who didn't seem to care that he isn't your 'traditional' guy or girl and gave him a compliment. Not just any compliment but one on his appearance...after he had declared himself male. Nevertheless, he gave a somewhat sheepish smile and a small 'uhh...thanks....' In response, now fiddling with a strand of his hair.

"I'm not into anything 'cool' really. I mostly just study and...sleep." He laughed lightly, speaking in a joking tone to try and make up for his earlier fumbling about with his words and rambling. "And I wouldn't say that...sure there are plenty of interesting people and creatures here but no one, I think, with a voice quite like that." He said, and he meant it; he really did like his singing.

"It makes me curious, you know?" He glanced back up at the other, having turned his gaze toward the fountain. "...Is it talent...or are you an angel or something?" He said in something of a similar teasing tone as with the last of what he said and a slight flirty edge to it as well. Not that he was religious at all really, but it made for a nicer and more flirty tease than potentially calling him a siren. After all, sirens were, if he knew it correctly, female and he was clearly male and besides, angels were supposed to have beautiful voices, right?

<div align=center>As lighthearted as the conversation had been going, Jericho couldn't help but to notice that his new acquaintance was troubled by past experiences. Unfortunately however, he could see how mistakes were made, though he certainly didn't agree with them. But disgusted? He couldn't even fathom someone using that word in context with him. Even if he wasn't what someone was expecting he was still seemingly a cool guy to be around. People could be so cruel.

Though as pieces came in, it was clear to Jericho that Ettein was indeed intersex. He admitted that he had some bravery by telling him that he in fact had both genders going on down there, though he didn't proceed to question further as it seemed way too personal to press for answers. Besides, he was turning pink. The boy already was pretty embarrassed, and he didn't want to press further. "Rest assured that you won't ever get that sort of thing from me. I promise." He was just one person, but he hoped it at least accounted for something. But at least the situation lifted a bit once he replied to his gratitude with a simple "No prob."

In response to his question Jericho made a mental note on his interests. Studying and sleeping. That was easy enough to remember but... Surely there was more, right? "Hey, can't complain against getting a lot of sleep right?" He retorted back casually. Truthfully he could probably use more. He lived on coffee and adrenaline, which explained poor sleeping habits. This guy was probably better off in health than he was. However with the polite remark back he smiled again a bit, feeling more assured in the vocal chords he possessed. "Glad I'm at least a bit special then." He mused with implied gratitude. He really wasn't used to people complimenting him, and each meant a whole bunch to his self assurance.

What did end up as basic teasing however was enough to send Jericho in a miniature laughing fit. Wow, this guy was smart! "D-Damn..." He snickered, trying to regain himself. He grinned to Ettein, legs kicking playfully slow. "Hate to answer your question with another, but... Are you psychic or something?" He asked with skeptical humor, a brow raised. "Because well, sure. I guess I helped myself explore something I already had... But that angel bit? Christ, you've hit the nail on the head there." Well.... He tensed his shoulders in the sign of a halfway incorrect shrug. "But at the same time, not quite..."

Jericho stood from the fountain lede, carefully placing his guitar in its case. A mischievous look of curiosity came upon him as he stood not too far before Ettein, jacketed arms folding. "You've told me a bit about yourself, so I guess it's show and tell now..." Mellowness touched his face as he readied another question. "Wanna see what I am?"</div>

Ettein was taken aback a bit by the other's promise and though he was a bit skeptical, it did make him smile. He didn't have many friends nor did he usually go out of his way to meet them and so this encounter, right off the bat was out of the norm and only becoming more so as it progressed. Though, he was quickly realizing it wasn't a bad thing and was rather, tuning out better than he had expected...much better actually. He could only managed a light laugh at the other's reaction to his joking around before he was once again taken aback, but this time by Jericho's laughter.

"Uhm...I...no, I'm not psychic..." He had only been teasing him and joking around as he was with his earlier statement but to actually 'hit the nail on the head'? Did that mean this guy was an angel? When he offered to show him what he was, he couldn't help but sit up a bit, a look of pure curiosity in his eyes.

"I would, yes!" He said with an enthusiastic and rather child-ish smile before realizing how embarrassing that came out. "I...I mean, if you want to show me then yes, I would like to see." He corrected himself, now feeling a bit stupid but he really was curious. If he was an angel, did that mean he had wings? And if he had those, did that mean he could fly? Oh, now he wished he had his journal with him...he didn't have anything about angels in there!

Sorry it's kinda crappy...so distracted atm O_o

<div align=center>To keep Ettein from worrying to much, the testiness and ambiguous nature of Jericho's face went more mellow and calmer. After all, he personally hoped that the man wouldn't freak out with him. But he doubted that would happen. Ettein didn't seem to be like that, and Jericho respected an open minded attitude anyway.

"Well then, you're a really good guesser." Jericho replied back with an eased smile, not wanting him to feel as if he was uncomfortable. He was by nature a trickster of sorts but knew when it was and wasn't alright to make a joke. After all, he could feel someone else's discomfort if the situation would come to that. And out of the many emotions he could pick up, that went on his top ten worst, with rage and despair being close to first. Hopefully that wouldn't happen with Ettein any time soon. He'd feel awful anyway if he made him too upset.

With his childlike curiosity Jericho couldn't help but to chuckle. How cute. It was actually to see him get excited like that, as with him he had sort of a regal air about him. Jericho noted Ettein did appear to be from a species that wasn't that quite human by just taking him some of his appearance. Almost... Exotic when he thought about it. Damn, taking this into consideration Jericho felt as if he was a bit lackluster. Maybe he could convince him to show off what he was after he did. On any case e wanted to learn more about the boy in front of him.

"Well, since you're so polite, I guess I just have to." It was true that he was, but at the same time that nonchalant and easy tone was about him. With that he began to remove the clothes on his upper half, first unzipping the leather jacket he had. "Sorry that I'm stripping. If it makes you uncomfortable, feel free to turn around." He was serious, though he doubted that seeing another man take off his clothes would truly offend him. Underneath his jacket was a flannel button up, which he got to undoing immediately. And under that was partially revealed to be a plain t shirt. But before he tossed that aside like the rest of his clothes, he began to undo some sort of restraint system from underneath them. He unfastened belts and clicked open locked and chords. About a dozen of them were cast to the ground without a care, each causing something in his back to shuffle. Before he got to remove the final piece he took off his last shirt, revealing his rather sculpted body. The guy lifted, that was for sure; as his abs, chest, and arms agreed. But that wasn't the main focus of the scenario. The last restraint was unleashed, and a FWOOP! sound could be heard as storm gray wings expanded almost his size and a half, some of the gentle looking feathers falling like leaves to the ground with the forceful movement.

"Yeah, so... Ta-da." He did a fake sort of jazz-hands thing before laughing, wings rusting to a better resting position. He rolled his shoulders, the feathery appendages moving with him as a stretch. "Jesus I should learn to take a break after a few hours... My wings are killing me after being under all those restraints." Yeah... Maybe twelve hours was a bit too long to be having them under wraps. On any case he really was an angel... Kinda. "You did take a really good guess, and was pretty close... But I'm not much of an angel. Too much of a sinner to be one of those. I'm actually a Nephilim, half angel and half man, that God just can't stand." His tone was somewhat more forlorn discussing this topic, realizing it was something he couldn't quite help. But of course, he had to live with the mistakes of his predecessors. "Human mother, angel father. Forbidden love, cursed with mortality, locked out of heaven... All that fun stuff." Hoping he didn't make him sad or uncomfortable, he smiled once more. He extended a wing from behind him to hold the graceful appendage out in front of him so that Ettein could see. "You can touch it if you want. It's really soft..." Jericho offered in a serene tone, his smile eased and gentle. </div>

Those dark and large pupil-ed, snake-like eyes of Ettein's never left the other's form as he talked or as he began to strip, as he had put it. His earlier words were practically lost to him as he found himself staring at the other's exposed chest. He knew that wasn't what he was really meaning to show him, but he didn't think he'd be very disappointed if it were the case. He couldn't help though, the light shade of pink that colored his cheeks at the sight. He wasn't embarrassed...well maybe a little, he simply found Jericho rather attractive; much more so now that he had no shirt on. What were the chances that he'd run into an attractive guy that could sing, who didn't mind the fact that he was intersex and who also turns out to be not only a total stud but an angel, er, a Nephilim? It almost made him wonder if he was dreaming or something. This kind of thing just didn't happen in real life, right? At least not to him, and yet here he was, this beautiful guy that had him both puzzled and blushing more than he thought he never had in one day. Something had to go wrong here, didn't it? Either the guy would turn out to be a complete jerk (which he didn't think was possible at this point), or somehow Ettein himself would screw things up and scare him off. It was bound to happen, right? After all, people like this didn't just drop into other's lives like this.

He was drawn out of those thoughts and the almost mesmerized stare he had on the guy, when he was told it was 'ok to touch'. That's when he stood up, silently but slowly, eyes roaming over his wings as he approached him and hesitantly reached out. As almost child-ish smile crossed his face at the texture of the wings and he glanced up at Jericho.

"They are soft" He said under his breath, now looking up at the taller boy, still with that child-ish look on his face. Then he realized he was staring at the other again; at those grey-ish green eyes of his, sculpted face and mature facial features which were so unlike his own petite features. He practically had to force himself to look away and returned his attention to those soft, feathery wings of his. When he did though, his eyebrows pulled together, erasing the child-ish wonder from his face and replacing it with something a bit more serious.

"...You're beautiful." He spoke in that same soft tone, glancing back up at Jericho and once again turning that light shade of pink when he realized what he had said. "I..I mean, they are." He corrected himself. "You're wings..." He trailed off. "I don't see how anyone could....could not stand this." He paused for a long moment, allowing his hands to drop to his sides and his gaze fixing itself on the ground.

"What you are..." He started out again. "Isn't something you can help, and you shouldn't be punished for it." He stated, actually becoming rather heated about this when he was normally rather calm. But this, this hit home in a way Ettein probably didn't realize at the moment. He had never met his birth parents but he had a pretty good idea, or so he thought, of the reason they didn't want him and hearing something like this just made him angry and even a bit defensive. "It isn't right...you shouldn't have to hide what...who you are.." He tailed off. And he truly meant it; as curious about the other as he was and as fascinated as he was by him, this...this just didn't seem right to him at all and he couldn't help but voice it.

<div align=center>Jericho relaxed when Ettein touched his wing, shifting a bit to give him room. His eyes, though attempting to stare straight ahead or at least avoid his eyes. However whenever he directed his attention towards his wings Jericho glanced back, a soft smile on his face. In all honesty, he had never before seen someone like him... He was, for a lack of a better term, gorgeous. The way he balanced effortlessly between the lines of man and woman and the manner of his persona had certainly drawn him in a way he couldn't quite describe. Jericho didn't now how to feel about him, though it was clear he at least liked him. Maybe even more. But that was to be seen.

But what caught him truly off guard was his statement. Beautiful? he thought, unable to believe it himself. Sure, he was alright, but... Beautiful? He looked down, at a lost for words. He stifled a small chuckle and stuttered a bit, thinking. "Uh, th-thanks. Y-" But before he could finish his sentence, he withdrew it at changing to about his wings. He almost took a weight off of him, as he felt that he didn't have to expose his lack of confidence in expressing sincere feelings like that. He had rehearsed everything else, his little flirts and quirks coming to him like first nature. But having someone else initiate that and mean it was something he wasn't used to. Which is why he was glad he could recover.

"Glad you like them." He smiled sweetly, the uneven expression adding flair to how he felt. He then shrugged his shoulders, and pointed to the sky. "Tell that to Him.". God himself didn't like him. That was a sort of low only few people took. The sort of joking air however quieted itself when Ettein explained to him the sorts of things he wasn't used to being told. And that's when it started to truly hit him.

He listened to his words carefully, for once being the one to listen rather than talk. Sure, his mother asserted that he was no accident, and that he shouldn't be ashamed to be different. But this was the first time he was being told by someone who was his age, and wasn't a normal human in all probability. He felt humbled by this, looking down towards the wings cast on the ground in front of him. A ghost of a smile was kept on his face the whole time, his own forced coolness to keep him from blushing as well.

When he was finished, Jericho swallowed to ease his own mixed emotions. He sat back down, wings folding and eyes glancing at them before looking to Ettein. He almost couldn't maintain eye contact, as if he felt he was lower than him. But nonetheless, he still spoke. "I..." What could he say? "I wasn't really told those sorts of things before. I just... Went along with what I am, and accepted that I'm not even supposed to be alive let alone comfortable with what I am... I mean I'm not ashamed but..." He smiled. "I'm
not used to being told otherwise."
He looked to Ettein, as if he was trying to figure the both of them out. At the same time, he was exuding gratitude. "Thank you. Really man, it means a lot."

With that, he thought of something else that led him into curiosity. "I'm just curious again-and don't worry, I'm not going to ask as bad as I did before-" He began, laughing internally at the thought. "What can you do? I mean, do you have an ability? Or any of the sort?" He raised up his wings slightly and smiled in reassurance, shrugging in an exaggerated manner. "I won't judge."</div>

And here comes the screw-up, Ettein couldn't help but think as Jericho sat back down. Did he say something wrong? Cross a line somewhere perhaps? He was prepared to have to leave or even to be yelled at but his momentary doubt vanished as soon as Jericho spoke. He was a bit puzzled however; why hadn't anyone told him anything like that before? It didn't seem likely that he'd be made fun of or looked down upon by others; he thought his wings really were beautiful and surely he wasn't the only one that did, right?

"I don't see why not.." He said, voicing part of the thoughts running through his mind. "But that's good you aren't ashamed...you shouldn't be." He said, enforcing his earlier words but this time with a soft smile and moved to say more but only stopped when he found himself blushing again. Damn it!How did this guy do that?! Make his cheeks heat up and turn pink so easily when he didn't blush or get embarrassed like this. Not that it was a bad feeling really...actually it was kind of a good feeling.

"Uhm...your welcome." He said with a genuine smile, running a hand through his hair in something of a shy manner. He never really was very good at social interactions, having stuck to himself most of the time so he was a bit unsure of himself...especially since this interaction was heading in a direction he wasn't used to or prepared for.

"I don't think I'm anything special really." He said,"I mean...you have wings and you're a Nephilim. Even if you 'aren't suppose to exist', which I think is completely untrue, by the way...most people like angels, right?" he paused for a moment, speaking in that soft tone of his but it was neutral this time, unlike the almost defensive one he held earlier.

"I'm not something most people like....actually I think I might freak some of them out, and that's without being intersex." He said with a light laugh and in something of a teasing tone, obviously light-hearted and not depressive or something of the sort. "I mean...unless you like reptiles anyhow." He paused for a moment, a small playful smile on his lips. "You aren't afraid of snakes, are you?"
