Yuki proceeds to see if he can still text and call his fellow islanders.

@Arcadia

There are some localized ocean currents near the sure, but they're diminished. No real wind, it's a calm night.

Isstar Rukt'In is currently off island when The Long Night began. In fact, he had been in the middle of a phone conversation with Liun Rukt'In when it started.

What's the situation off island? Isstar would've tried calling Liun, and/or texting other people on the island.

@Wuffy I mean, the situation is just fine wherever you happen to be. Nothing weird happening out there. Your texts are sent but don't appear to go through, call won't ring through.

Nix, midway through a call to his mother, drops the call. He tries to call her back but fails. He dials his sister, also currently off-island, and fails again. He checks the clocks, then outside.

Aswan, also checking out the window, is more fascinated than scared, as is the case most times with her. She runs off with a flashlight to the local library to do research.

@Ashes Clock are still working. Outside is still outside.

Aswan spends the night in the library.

Angelo, who isn't one to sit around, checks in with the Twelve. He does learn from May that the moon he's seeing is not a true moon. May things it might be an illusion, but that the true moon he's associated with is still out there.
