Feeling antsy in his bird body, Ty shifted from foot to foot on Levi's shoulder, anxious to make it back home to where his clothes were. Wanting Levi to walk faster, he leaned forwards, still a little irritated by the comment about not being cute. Of course he was cute - he was the cutest person on the planet. He managed to refrain from pulling more hair, though, figuring that he might get fed nice things if he behaved.
Thankfully, the walk home hadn't been a long one, and they made it to the dorms rather quickly. The pair had attracted quite a bit of attention, a tiny little winged creature with a large and rather angry looking bird attached to his shoulder. Growing closer to their designated room, Ty outstretched his wings in his excitement, temporarily forgetting that he had a perch to think about. After delivering a blow of feathers to the side of Levi's head, Ty immediately apologised by running his beak through Levi's salty hair, preening it gently as he waddled closer to nest in the crook between shoulder and jaw. He was cute, he could be the cutest goddamn bird the world had ever seen.
Though he hated to admit it, that comment had taken the weirdest blow to his ego. The entire walk home, he couldn't stop thinking about how Levi didn't think he was a cute bird.
