Like with any other creature or human, Fiona has her good days and her bad days. Like some creatures she hardly has a reason to call a day a good day or bad day. It just is what it is and she normally can’t do anything about it except wait for her drastic mood swing to switch poles or come to an end. When her alarm woke her that morning she couldn’t find the motivation to pull herself out of bed, in all reality she wanted to bury herself under the covers and never see the sun again. If it wasn’t for the fact that she had something important to do that day she most likely would have stayed right where she was.
Fiona didn’t put much effort into looking like she cared, given that in that moment she really didn’t. She kept her messy bunch of red tangles, not caring to brush her hair. Then she threw on a pair of jogging pants and some worn out gap t-shirt she got as a hand-me down. When she looked in the mirror she might have looked like a mess. Just it wasn’t the type of mess she was hoping for. There were days where she was incredibly thankful for her Selkie ability to look absolutely beautiful at any given time no matter the circumstances. This was most definitely not one of them.
She was about to punch her mirror out of frustration before she figured her life would only be a lot worse with a hand injury, and she didn’t want it being any worse than it already was. On her way to the school building she tried to figure out what exactly she had to do today that it was so important. As she racked her brain trying to figure out, she came to realize that she couldn’t. She stopped in the middle of the whole way and her hands made their way to her hair as she pulled at it screaming “no no no no no!” and ran towards the nearest exit.
Fiona didn’t care if she had to push any one out of her way to get herself out of the school building and into an outside space. She felt claustrophobic and locked up in the flooded hallways and had to get to the fresh air where she could breath and see as clearly as she could on land. Her eyes were tearing up and she felt as if everything around her was a rush. Once she was outside in the air she still felt like her head was spinning and she couldn’t exactly tell where she was but she found a wall and was able to sit herself down and lean against it for support as she kept on crying and muttering to herself.
