The genie and the vampire

Amara raised an eyebrow when asked suddenly about what she did for fun. Being the center of a conversation wasn't her strong place but if it was meant to help someone out she could calmly talk about herself for a bit. "Well, Volleyball obviously but I also spend a lot of time in my professor's research lab. Science is a passion of mine and understanding t\what is science and what is magic is a fun quest. Besides that my life pretty dull...I read...take my dire wolf to the woods or park depending on the weather. You know, normal Islander stuff." Though she, of course, knew Blue wouldn't know what was normal islander stuff the phrase just slipped out.

Compared to many of her other classmates and acquaintances Amara's life had been pretty calm and free of drama. Many of the people she met were escaping life or death situations or had nothing and had to work daily to make the best of both adjusting and thriving. She, on the other hand, was fully settled into a routine she planned to follow until graduation. Sports, Studies, Lichy the three pillars of her life. "The best way to hear about a lot of people hobbies and get a feel for what people do is to visit public areas. Like the dorm lounges or the community center in the city."

She would visit there from time to time. Though whenever she did it was for a friendly match of volleyball with some off-campus payers and her team.
