Note, if you want to use this location please tag your thread with 'the forbidden zone'.

The Forbidden Zone is a cafe/bookstore (similar to Barnes & Nobles) located right off campus. It's a gothic, edgy place that most people would call Hot Topic without the clothes. The employees are required to act emotionless, rather than all smiley. If they choose to smile it must be considered creepy and unnerving. Most of the people who spend their free time here do so either because they genuinely enjoy the aesthetic, they find it hilarious, or they don't want to travel all the way off campus for good treats.

The outside of The Forbidden Zone is what one would expect. It's a slanted building set up in the shadier part of the courtyard, near a few trees. Its doors are black metal (though not iron) and depict strange Angel-esque creatures with their hands cupped and raised.

The windows outside are frosted and keep people from looking in at the patrons, while also helping add to the atmosphere. Outside, there is one four seated table against the window looking in for those who wish to enjoy their beverages and snacks outside.

Inside, The Forbidden Zone is much more spacious than the impression the building gives off from outside. Inside, FZ is much fancier than some people might think.

There is a pretentious air to the place that isn't helped by the gothic furniture or tall shelves of books, both for reading and buying. The location is made of cobblestone, black carpet, and red fittings.

The seats are plush and broad, the place set up more akin to a restaurant than a cafe. Statues decorate the corners of the building, many holding swords or other weapons held upward. Their faces are worn down with time, making the details impossible to discern.

The coffee and tea served at the Forbidden Zone all have edgy names, such as their dark roast which has been named "Dark Pact." When ordering whipped cream with your coffee, the patron has a choice of how they want their coffee decorated, either with a significant whipped cream figure, glamour to make a fog effect, or a whipped cream and cinnamon face.

Meanwhile, The Forbidden Zone's selection of foods is all macabre and rather realistically created. Between an anatomically correct heart flan dessert, or strawberries and ice creams to look like a monster, all the way to baby head cakes.

None of this is real human or sentient creature, mind you. They don't have a license for that. Rather it's meant to be all in good fun. For those who might get offended the staff are told not to apologize. Again, they're kind of elitist.
