She instead did a backflip in midair to keep her from getting hurt more... She then did a kick she hadn't ever landed before.... A jumping double kick with both feet in the air...

She wouldn't let him grab hold she quickly sent a third quick kick towards his head in the air and landing whether the kick hit or not wasn't the point she just needed to get her feet on the ground....
