The Dragon and the Witch

He nodded, "maybe, so many different clans. So much to look through," he smiled, "but the school is good for that, lots of good info. I'm pretty lucky the school heard about me?" of course when they heard about a dragon popping up they scent a scount.
"Mind if I ask a question?" he was really hoping to get to know his girlfriend, "what was it like when your magic first started showing up?"

He listened as she explained what it was like when her powers first emerged, it was fascinating to him, the idea of people being born with magic.
He looked down for a sec when asked about when the school found him, "well....you see," he sighed a bit, "my powers returned all at once...so...I shifted while inside the orphanage, I accidentally colapsed part of it."
He looked up, a bit of the guilt showing on his face, "no one was hurt, but it was a poor town, I hope it got rebuilt ok. Anyways, new of a dragon popping up spread fast and the school sent a scout."

He nodded, "I know what you mean, probably still some bastard dragon hunters out there somewhere," he had been reading a bit, and apparently a lot of clans of Europe were wiped out during the medieval times, "but that's why this place was made, so we wouldn't have to hide who and what we are."

He reached out and took her hand, giving it a light squeeze, "what about you, how'd you end up coming to the school," he understood that everyone must have had a different experience, "I'll understand if you don't want to say, I know it might a lot to share."
