He smiled as the ice finger poked his noze, it felt good to be appreciated, the orphanage was nice but he never stood out, never felt unique. "Thank you, that means a lot to me."

He put out the flame on his finger and focused on his ice forming an ice rose, he leaned over the table and carefully placed it in her hair, "I came to this island a little worried about what would happen, but things are turning out great"

Hazel leaned her head forward, taking the ice rose in her hair happily. She then sat back down, nodding.

"I'm always happy to help, I guess. And it's great to hear that you are doing well here. I was a bit nervous as well. And you have made things a lot easier for me to get used to this place as well. Though, meeting you in dragon form was a bit unnerving. Not terrible, mind you, but an interesting way to meet a boyfriend."

He smiled, the possibility that he made things easier for her made him happy. He leaned down and kissed her, he held the kiss for a few seconds before pulling back blushing just a bit, "sorry, I couldn't help myself."

Being with Hazel was amazing in his eyes, he often didn't think much of himself, but she made him feel great, "yea sorry again. Me plummeting into a tree while you're reading is a really odd way for a couple to meet, " he chuckled, a bit embarrassed by his inability to fly.

As she was kissed, she turned bright red. Her eyes darted around the room, not making eye contact. However, the small smile on her face showed that she was okay with the kiss.

"It's, uh, no problem. You didn't hit me as you fell, so we are all good."

Hazel then reached for some water, sipping it. She didn't really have anything else to say right now, so she resorted to doing something else.

He smiled brightly, and though he had initiated the kiss he was a bit embarrassed himself, he stook a sip of water.

He looked back to her still smiling, "have you considered learning any other elements? I was thinking of learning some wind magic after I have my current elements under control," it seemed a bit daunting but he thought it could be interesting.

"Magic seems to have so much variety," he had taken a look at a book about it and was overwhelmed by how much there was.

"I'm not sure if I do want to learn any other elements. I think earth may be fun with some similarities to ice that I could work with it. Other then that, I don't have a lot of interest in learning other magic areas."

She stretched, scratching the back of her head. While she didn't have a lot to say, she was a bit thankful that the waiter came to take their order. So, she ordered some pasta with Alfredo.

He smiled, despite the awkwardness of being a new couple, he was really enjoying being with her. When the waiter appeared he ordered the lasagna.

"So, what kind of hobbies do you have?" he took a sip of his soda, "I tend to read a lot, and like cooking but I can't claim to be very good at it," back at his orphanage he would often help in the kitchens. "I've started reading as much about magic as I can, but theres so much. I've grabbed as much as I can from the library."

Hazel was happy he was into cooking. Some common interest is always a good thing.

"I don't read too much unless it's studying. I am also into cooking, as well as baking. I'm thinking of getting commissions started for baked goods as well as sewing. Other then that, I guess I don't really have a lot of hobbies. I mean, I drink coffee a lot, but that's not really a hobby."

He smiled, "we should cook together one day and I could make you dinner one night," he never thought he'd ever get to say that to a girl, yet here he was offering to cook for his girlfriend dinner one night.

He took a sip of his soda, "I'm trying to figure out what kind of dragon I am, sense the color of my scales doesn't match my elemebts its been odd."

Hazel nodded, leaning back a little, sipping her shake. Never thought she would have a guy offer to cook for her. It was a bit weird for her, since Elizabeth was constantly asking her to make their meals.

"Yeah, I guess that'd be fine. I'm not too sure how often I'll allow you to cook, but I can try every now and then. As to what dragon you are, I guess maybe from a clan with multiple elements? Or maybe from a line of two different clans."
