The Dragon and the Witch

"Potion making does sound really cool, I hear some potions heal wounds in mere moments," its was all fascinating to him, he'd spent the four years he remembers unaware of the fact that he was a dragon.

"A desire to fly is something we both have," unfortunately the magic that blocked his powers had some physical side effects, "I'm hoping to train my wings, make them strong, maybe we'll fly together one day," he smiled and gently sqeazed her hand. "Bet you'll look amazing flying."

He smiled a bit, he felt her squeeze back, it wasn't as strong as his, but it was there and that's what mattered, "ah messing up is a part of being a kid, besides your more knowledgeable now, I'm sure you'd do really well now, and maybe we can take flying classes together, though I guess it's a different kind of flying."

A cold wing blew up, fall was definitely here, you could feel winter not far behind behind it. He focused on his fire element warming up his body temperature to keep Hazel warm, he didn't realize it but now that he was at eaze and comfortable he had better control of his powers.

"Ah my wings will probably be ok," in truth he wasn't so sure about it, but he needed to stay positive, "my elemental control comes first I think, power classes will be nice." Having multiple elements was apparently rare, he still hadn't seen another dragon with it, "my ice has been useful, cant use to much of it yet though."

He smiled, it felt good talking to someone about this, most people gave him an odd look when he said he had to learn to be a dragon, Hazel seemed so supportive, "yea, I have me elements in both forms so I thought it would be best to focus on them first."

"May I ask what magic you specialize in?" all magic was new to him so he was intetested, "I remember you mentioning ice magic."

"Owl magic? That sounds really cool, does it enhance your senses," he asked genuinely interested. He smiled and gently squeezed her hand a bit, "you really are amazing, having such abilities."

At this point they had come to the restaurant, he smiled and opened the door, leading them to a table. "I've eaten here once before, it's nice, but it's even better tonight, after all I'm having dinner with a beautiful girl."

He smiled and took her hand, "hey, you are beautiful, and you are special. Don't ever doubt that," he looked her with a smile, he had meant every word.

He noticed a small candle on the table, he flicked his fingers forming a small flame which he used to light it,, "it's amazing really, such a plain looking guy like me getting a pretty girl to go out with me."

The waitress appeared asking for their drink orders, he ordered a soda.
