Ehehhe, well, I post a lot of poems, and there's a cool weekly poem contest they always have here:

One week's challenge was:
"Imagine you're a halloween costume, describe yourself without using your specific name. Prose or lined format."

I sort of followed the prompt but went off amusingly on my own as well. Here it is, since you can't read the link without joining.

The Costume
I stride across the midnight clear
Their eyes wide, full of fear
They glance at me and try to smile
"Oh how clever", their teeth crocodile
"Clever costume there, son"
Their eyes narrow, full of nervous fun
He chuckles and grins
Followed by avatars of sin
Monsters, ghouls, and ghosts, oh my!
All framed by the night in its symmetry
A ghost peers at me
And tries to deduce
My mysterious expression
The fake blood on my suit
She smiles and nods
"A murderous loon?"
If only they'd known
That I'd forgotten my costume
