
Shay couldn't take much a running start, but Shay did all she could before soaring through the air toward the rooftop. Naturally, the young girl screamed. It was part exhilaration and part terror. She didn't land as graciously as Teddy; she barely landed at all. The wind knocked out of her and had she not been wearing thick leather gloves; her hands would have been torn something fierce.
She stood and shook herself off, head spinning. She was standing near the edge of the roof. Shay grinned. She had done it. She hurt, and she would be sore in the morning, but she'd made the jump!
"Okay, Peter! What next? This doesn't look like Neverland, but maybe we're on our way?"
