"Alright, you know the drill kids. No drugs, no alcohol, no premarital sex, blah blah blah." he said with a laugh before walking off to the school.

As he got far enough out of their sight, he snuck behind a tree and decided to watch them. 'Please don't be a total failure...' he thought.

Kristin turned red again. This was now very awkward. “Lance I think we should talk......” Kristin started off saying, she looked back to see if Legault was still there. “Do you have some time?” Kristin asked looking back at Lance.

Kristin sighed, "Yeah there sort of is. I wanted to know where are we, I mean are we boyfriend and girlfriend. Are you just taking me to the dance and then that's it. Are we friends that just really like each other" Kristin said, she wanted to know, what was going on with them.

"No Kristin, I wanna be with you, always", he embraced her warm body like he did that night in the sky. "As soon as you walked into the ball room that night I knew you were special, I knew you would be special to me." He moved her hair from her face, "what do you think?"

Watching from behind the tree, he snickered. He couldn't hear them, but he could see them.

"Score one for Legault. 'Oh, what if he doesn't love me' my foot." he said, mocking Kristin. He couldn't help but feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

“I think that’s the sweetest and most meaningful thing someone has ever said to me. But…..” Kristin paused for a moment. She looked into his eyes, “But how do you feel about me?” Kristin asked him.

He put his finger under her chin and kissed her softly," I love you Kristin." He looked in her eyes and gave a soft laugh.

Kristin smiled, that was all she wanted to hear. “I love you so much Lance.” Kristin said hugging him tightly. Then kissing him again.
