Lexi had gotten home and spoke to her father. It was a lot of time as her father sat up and left for his classes. he opened the door and vanished as she did her normal goodbyes and went to her room. It was a normal afternoon for a bit.

"So for Mister Odin's class... German's would only use this for that.... and Those of the Allies would use-." she stopped. "PA-! Oh right.. He's got classes.." She signed. Looking over her theatre history class stuff and humming before she heard a knock at the door.

Taken away she changes from her pajama's and gets back into her school clothes and open's the door.

"H-hello? Welcome to the Octavius house hold.. I-I'm Lexi." She had her eyes closed the whole time until she opened eyes.

Cleo giggled as Lexi opened her eyes, "so formal, yet still adorable," she'd giggle again, "hope you don't mind me popping in hun, wanted to swing by and say hello."

Smiling she'd lean forward just a tiny big, "so, hello," she'd grin brightly, her eyes shinning bright. "Flew in hoping you were home and..," then she'd notice the large multicolored feathered on her own shoulder and blush, gently picking it off.

She'd giggle nervously and show her the feather, "tail has been dropping a few, late molt before winter I think." She'd smile, "I'm big ol' goofy birb, but I do like my feathers."

Lexi's eyes brightened and her smile almost flew off her face.

"CLEO!" she said, running up to her and wrapping her arms around her. "O-of course! I always like seeing my friends!" she said after letting go. Blinking a few times.

"Hello! Welcome to my house!" She giggled a bit as as she listened. Her eyes watching the feather slowly grow. A beautiful feather, made of various colours. Looking at Cleo's face with a blush on it she put a hand over her mouth to try to stifle a giggle.

"That's really pretty." Lexi looked over the feather as she shook her head. "Since you're here, why don't cha come in?"

She moved in and invited Cleo in. The inside of the house was mostly natural looking with books, pictures and seemed like a normal house for the most part. It looked very regal to a point, but more like a teacher's house.

"Well, do you want some water? Tea? The Lexi Special? Milk?"

She said, going into the kitchen, her tail swaying lightly as she grabs two glasses. Looking around to figure out what Cleo was going to ask for.

Cleo would giggle and hug the cat girl back, "hello there hun," she'd reach up and gently give her cat ears a few pets. She remembered how much she'd liked her ears being pet from last time, it'd been adorable.

She'd follow her in with a happy hum, quickly slipping the feather into Lexi's hair as she glanced around at the house. "Ph, it's quite lovely Lexi," she'd give a smile, letting out some small happy bird sounds, "I haven't visited a friend's home in a while."

"Tea would be nice, thank you," she'd say, hee eyes sparkling a bit, "you live here with your father?" she'd ask curiously, remembering hearing that her father was a teacher or had some other scholarly profession.

"I bet you call every H-h-huuuun~" She said. Her voice slowly reaching a pleasured crescendo until she pulls away. Taking a few seconds to regain her composure as she looks with a satisfied smile.

The felt the feather go into her hair. A bright smile on her face as she looked around. "uh huh! Wait till you see Papa's castle, but this was the first place I had ever truly called home! It's lovely! I've even got ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL Disney movies to date! Old and Remakes! I don't tend to go out to my friends places often.. Papa always told me.." She stood in the hallway with her right hand over her heart and left hand over her face and tried to speak seriously. "A good Octavius puts their studies first to be the best the can for the future of the family." she then giggled.

"OH TEA! Earl grey? Green?.." She looked through the cabinet and gave a huge list. Before going "I think papa once told me Phoenix's like.... Orange pekoe. I could be wrong. What ever you want I think I have.." She listened to the question.

"Uh huh! I with my papa! He's a teacher at the school! He's always busy, but always makes time for me!" She started the kettle. "Some people would say he's a bad father, but I think he's the best! All papa's could learn a thing or two from him!"

She'd giggle and follow the cat girl, yes she'd made a mental note about the ears. "But you gotta make time for friends," she'd grin, "technically I still have homework to do buuuuuut I decided visiting a certain cat girl sounded quite nice."

"Orange pekoe does sound nice," she'd say with a grin, "sounds like you've got quite the stock." She'd stand beside her friend, listening to her chatter, "I thought I heard he was a magic teacher, that's actually really cool. I grew up in the narrow reality, didn't even know I was fire birb until about a year ago."

A feather would fall from her hair and she'd blush and pick it up, "sorry about that, tends to happen as winter gets closer," she'd say with an embarrassed chuckle. "Anyhoo, what shall we do Lexi hon?" she'd ask with a smile, hugging her friend, "sipping tea and chatting sounds nice and relaxing."

Lexi was deep in thought for a bit while she was setting up two cups of tea.

This statement echoed through her head. She didn't know why she was so happy to hang out with a friend. Or something else. She felt.. Sick for a moment. Shaking her head as she heard something about her dad.

"Uhh- yeah! Papa is the Magic Theory Teacher for the school! I do think he might be the head of all magic for the school but, that's just me. He's honestly one of the greatest Magicians of ALL time!" she said with a giggle. "oh.. Well.. I didn't find out I was adopted until a few years ago but, Magistar Octain is still my loving father, I love him like a father."

The kettle changed the scene as she began to pour the tea. "how many sugars? Milks?" She said.

She watched the feather fall. The beauty was never known to Lexi as she smiled brightly. "Feel free to leave it! I'll clean up later, and keep them." The last part she put her hands over her mouth.

"I-if you want we can talk over tea and watch and a movie o-or what ever. I'm sure you're busy!"

"You ok Lexi?" she asked, noting the head shake, a bit of concern in her voice, hmming thoughtfully, "I didn't interrupt anything did I? I probably should have called before popping up like this."

"Yes I love my family too," she'd ask for a few sugars and accept her tea, sipping it, "my parents told me when I was fourteen, not long before I found out I was a phoenix." She'd blush a bit at her saying she'd keep the feathers.

"A movie sounds good," she'd say with a smile, "you're house, so pick your favorite, I'm sure I'll love it." She'd take a sip of her tea, "and us chatting will be nice, I've already loved talking to you."

"Y-yeah. I'm fine." she stated with a smile. "Not at all! It's nice to have a friend come over!" She couldn't contain how happy she was over all. Lexi's smile if it was any bigger would probably destroy the hallway, or even the house.

"Well, Papa isn't my biological dad, but I love him like a dad!" She added what Cleo wanted and hummed lightly as she had milk. In a small cup as she lapped it like a cat would, taking Cleo into the living room which had a large TV with lots of books on shelves around it, with a section of movies as Lexi looked at them. "Papa told me that my real parents died when I was young and that he found me a few years ago. Some stuff is fuzzy but, he'd never lie to me."

She looked through the movies. "Hmm.. No. Not Aladdin. Maybe not Beauty and the Best..." she kept looking at movies as she pulled out.. Frozen.

"O-oh sorry. I talk a lot when I'm thinking or looking at stuff." She sighed heavily. Lapping her milk as she sat on the couch after setting up the DVD. Curling up like a cat. "Sit where you want. Except in.." She points at a majestic red leather chair. It had a bit of dust on it. "That's Papa's chair." She then mumbled something into her milk as she kept 'drinking'.

She'd chuckle and take a seat besides the cat girl, "it's fine, is actually cute," tilting her head as her friend mumbled. "Thank you Lexi," she'd say with a smile as she sipped her tea, "it's nice spending time with you."

The phoenix girl would scoot a bit closer, "can I ask something?" she'd look at her ears, "are they sensitive? You seem to like them being pet, but I want to make sure it's ok to touch them."

Cleo would giggle, "you make the cutest sounds when I pet them," she'd tilt her head to the other side, "can I go ahead and pet them?"
