Every year on November, under the full moon, citizens of Manta Carlos visit the Bonfire in the forest to commemorate the memories of their dearly departed. Despite its grim nature, the bonfire is a time of celebration, celebrating the Manta Carlos holiday known as Carpe Noctum. It's to show appreciation for the departed's memories, as well as pray for their safety in the afterlife, offering gifts to please them and give them peace. It is said that restless citizens may be able to communicate with their dead ancestors, but whether that is true remains to be seen.

The Bonfire is the signature feature of the event — a giant, dazzling flame kept alight by pyromancers, nestled at the edge of the forest. It displays an array of food displaying the real harvest and serving hot cider. People can roast marshmallows and join in the dancing and celebration.
This event is in the Woods, set on the first full moon of November. Join the official Event Thread here. If your character is the sort to wander around the forest to search for ghosts, meet up for secret trysts, or any other reason that requires them to branch off from the main thread, tag your thread with "the Bonfire".
