Aedan smiled, most people may find her tungue and teeth unsettling but he found it fascinating and exotic. "Well you have meal partner with me," he took a bite of his food.

His eyes dimes a bit at the mention of family, he looked into her eyes and saw a kidneys and understanding, "I'm afraid I lost my family some time ago." He decided to not mention the fact that they were murdered by a group of mercenaries, "I do have a...," he sighed, "I do have a grandfather on the island but we don't really talk." He hated not telling her things but most of this stuff was really heavy, and not dinner appropriate.

He turned to her his smile back, he gently lifted her chin to look into her eyes, "but tonight is about us, not some bad memories." He kissed her lightly to tell her he was ok, "Life goes on and as I said earlier, it's looking pretty perfect right now."

Aylin could see she had drifted into another sensitive topic. It was evident in the tone of his voice, the change in his demeanor, but mostly in the way his eyes seemed to dim out. She had seen them light up, but to see this was actually very sad. He explained that he had lost his family, all aside from his grandfather, whom he was not so well connected with. Not having a family was a pain that Aylin could understand herself. She had no idea who here family was.

A moment later and he lifted her chin to look into her eyes and kissed her again. Aylin kissed him back wrapped her arms around his neck giving him a gentle hug. "Don't worry. If you ever need to talk... I understand what it's like to not have a family." It was not an upbeat thing to say but it was still something important. At least she felt it was important.

Aedan hugged her back, his smile returning and his eyes started shining again, "thank you. But I'm allright, being here with you has been better for me than anything else."

He leaned his forehead against hers, looking into her eyes, "a wise man once told me something, Remember the Lessons of the Past but don't let their Chains hold you down Grab onto the Latter of the future and Climb into the Stars." He chuckled, his dad had told him that, he was trying to live by it, "and well.....I'm looking into a beautiful set of stars right now."

He had a very sage like way of looking at things. It was both practical and positive. And somehow he had managed to not only express the most positive way of looking at things, but also weave another sweet compliment into it. No one had ever called her red eyes stars before.a couple people had called them pools of blood, one bigoted lady had even said her eyes were the gateway to hell. But stars.

At this point there wasn't much left to the food. They had been here for a surprising while but it had felt like only a fleeting moment while they spent most of the time enjoying each others company. It was also at this point that the waitress returned with a smile on her face. "Anything for Dessert?" She asked casually while picking up a few of the empty plates.

Aylin smiled, giving Aedan a quick peck before turning to look at the waitress. "Hmm.. Something chocolate..." She looked back to Aedan "Wanna share a little dessert before we go?"

Aedan smiled, he was happy. Happiness was something he was denied a long time. He looked at Aylin, "some desert would be great."

He quickly kissed Aylin on the cheek, "tonight has been wonderful...if only I had time control abilities so I could make it last forever." He finished the rest of his soda, "I believe that some music would be nice....a cello violin duet, though I believe the cello player will likely put the violinist to shame."

He looked at her, his eyes glowing bright and his smile even more charming, "thank you Aylin, you truly are an amazing girl."

The waitress gave a smile as she left to fetch a chocolaty dessert. Aylin could only guess what might be on it's way. She hadn't given a very specific order, just that she wanted chocolate. She knew that there were literally hundreds of things that could be made out of chocolate, all of them sweeter and more decadent than the last.

"We must have a duet tonight. I don't think there will be any shame involved, just beautiful music." When two people could be as comfortable and close as they were it was only natural that they should be able to play well together. Aylin could already picture them sitting together side by side while they complimented each other.

Another blush crossed her cheeks as he thanked her. She was glad he felt as good as she did. "You don't have to thank me. I'm the lucky one here. I should be thanking you." She loved watching his eyes light up. They were beautiful.

Aedan smiled and chuckled, "thank you Aylin, I do love the violin but I don't know many people who appreciate classical misic," he chuckled, "my neighbors are always complaining about me practicing, but I found a nice music shop that let's me use there sound proof room."

His eyes glowed a bit brighter at her compliment, "nah....I'm just a bumbling kid that was lucky to meet you."

"Luck had nothing to do with it. Don't sell yourself short. Your a charmer." She giggled leaning in to give him another quick kiss. In her own mind she was right though. Under normal circumstances she might not have looked twice in his direction. But he was polite, smart, pleasant, and a bit of a bad boy. Everything about him was working in his favor. it wasn't just his first impressions though. He had managed to keep the whimsy going all the way through the night. She could only guess how much fun they would still have left before all was done.

Aylin took another long sip from her drink, finishing it off in one last go. She took a second to fish out the lemon slices that had remained at the bottom of the glass, using her straw to hook them out. She placed one in her mouth and sucked on it, allowing the sour juices to make her lips and cheeks pucker, causing her to giggle again.
