Aedan gave her grateful smile, "thank you....a lot of people are offended by how closed off I can be, I'm trying to be more open. This date is helping a lot."

He nodded as she explained her amnesia and just being found on the island, "I have a friend in a similar situation, a kid I met, I've been trying to keep an eye on, help her through things." He took another sip of his soda, "Well however you got here, I'm happy I ran into you, this night as been amazing." He smiled, he couldn't help look in in her eyes, he blushed a bit, "I'm sorry...it's just your eyes really beautiful, there my favorite color."

He looked over the menu quickly, he rarely ate out because some people were uncomfortable with his diet but he knew she wouldn't mind, "I'll take three orders of the spiced beef in bell peppers, thank you." He gave her a smile showing how comfortable he was with her.

Aylin had also met a few people with similar memory related issues over the years. It wasn't too uncommon for people to end up here with no idea who they were or where they came from. In some cases it was almost the standard. The hardest part she had had with it was not knowing if she had a family. After all she had been alone since arriving, which was difficult enough on it's own, but then to not know anything, and be so severely different... It was enough to say that her early days here were not easy.

Aylin noticed that he seemed to be looking into her eyes a lot. This caused her to blush a bit as well. It wasn't often that people paid her eyes such attention, as often people seemed more interested in the rest of her anatomy, "Thank you. Your really making me feel like a princess." Sure that was a cliche thing to say in response to his compliments, but it was how she was feeling. Since meeting up he hadn't taken his eyes off of her for more than a fleeting moment, it was like she was the center of the world right now, and she hadn't had to take her clothes off. It was a great feeling.

Aedan placed his order, three servings of the spiced beef in bell peppers. That was going to be a lot. It brought a smile to her lips again. Knowing that he would eat as much as her left her feeling not so awkward about the idea of actually eating. Yes she was comfortable enough to eat her large lunches around people, and yes she would often eat when around others in general, but on a date she had considered taking it easy to not be off putting. Now though. She knew she would be ok.

"Your a man after my own heart." She said with a smile in response to his order. The waitress smiled at them and walked off with the order. Her own was simple. It would be a well cooked and seasoned pile of beef steaks. Usually a couple of pounds or so to start. If she were still hungry there would be more. "So could I guess that your appetite is tied to your gifts?" She wasnt trying to push for him to talk about his powers now, instead she was trying to focus more on the mountains of food that would be coming to them soon.

Aedan chuckled, "we'll if you don't mind me saying that I can already tell that you have an amazingly kind heart." Hell she had to, she was willing to put up with him, a awkward teen who's charm was probably accidental at best, but this date was making him feel on top the world.

He nodded and smiled, "my body produces ionic energy, it's also why my eyes glow, I can use to create blasts and constructs. It makes it to where my body needs more calories" He looked over the table, "in fact...I believe we're missing something." He gave a charming smile, and brought his hands together, his hands glowed for a sec as he formed a glowing blue ionic three pronged candle stick. He set the candle stuck in the center of the table and watched as it began to disipitate into what looked like floating blue fireflies. They faded quickly but for a brief moment there booth was lit up in a beautiful dim blue light, and Aedan was shocked at how beautiful Aylin looked in it.

Aylin watched in amazement as he seemed to conjure out of thin air a beautiful blue candlestick. the entire thing illuminated the booth, and it looked much the same color as his eyes had been the previous night when he couldn't sleep. it was an amazing gift, to be able to create things like this that were so beautiful. "So this is Ionic Energy?" She asked not removing her gaze from the glowing blue candlestick that had not faded into a trio of blue fireflies. They hovered whimsically in the air above the table for a moment before they too seemed to evaporate. She had wanted to reach out and touch them, though she had restrained herself for fear of what might happen if she did. All in all the experience left her, impressed, curious, and mystified.

"Aedan that was really something special." She managed to say after a few moments of stunned silence. It seemed he was just full of surprises. She didn't have any powers like that, though she often dreamed that she did. Some of her dreams she could conjure up arms out of thin air and fight with swords. In others she could summon lightning from the sky. Those dreams often left her with a deep feeling of longing that she didn't really understand.

She took another quick sip of her coke. wrinkling her nose a bit as some of the bubbles tickled it. "I can't do anything like that. But i can.. Well I mean if i wanted to crush things with my tail. There is a lot of muscle in it." She laughed a little as she spoke of her strength. In truth she wasn't just strong, she was very strong. She could crush metals, and destroy many things. If she wanted to kill a person it would be too easy. But it wasn't as neat as being able to manifest energy into physical shapes.

He smiled, he was happy she liked his abilities, "it's just a trick I can do, in truth ionic energy isn't that useful." He took a sip of his own soda, "Don't undersell your own abilities, I can't crush things like metal or anything, I'm strong but not that strong."

He chuckled and smiled, "A wise man once said, a sharp mind is the most powerful weapon, and well...I think you have a very sharp mind. A beautiful mind to match the physical beauty."

He took another sip of his soda, "and you shouldn't forget your skill with the cello, the ability to create beautiful music is a gift that anyone would envy."

Aylin had always been proud of her Cello playing. While it was a skill that anyone could learn, she had always felt that her skill with it was special. After all she had picked it up with no prior knowledge of it, and began learning at an alarmingly quick rate. And now she was able to make it sing in such a manner that could grab the attention of most people. She blushed a little as she leaned in to give Aedan a kiss on the cheek. "Thank you. Your very sweet." She said quietly before scooting a little closer to him.

She was really enjoying her time with him, it made her feel sort of fuzzy, or rather infatuated. Since sitiing down her tail had not left his leg, and now she found herself wanting to hold his hand again, though this time she slowly removed the silken black gloves that had covered her hands and forearms. She didn't break eye contact now while she reached over to take his hand in hers, skin to skin.

"Ya know. I wouldn't expect a body guard to be so sensitive." she said with another happy smile.

Aedan smiled as she kissed his cheek and took his hand and squeezed it lightly, he leaned toward her a bit his blue eyes locking with hers, "I protect people, while I'm no hero I do enjoy it. As for me being sensitive well, I love life, and right now with you....life is seeming pretty pefect."

He produced a second flower he'd been hiding and carefully placed it in her hair, "some people believe in a perfect afterlife....but I like to think that we have to make our own little bit of heaven here with the people around us."

Aylin felt like her heart was going to explode as Aedan leaned in towards her. His voice was smooth and low, pouring words like cheap champagne that had her intoxicated in the moment. She had wanted to say something, anything really but found her own tongue tied as she stared back into his blue eyes. Then as if on cue a second flower was pulled from some place unknown, and he placed it tenderly in her hair. This was like something that people saw in the movies. It was almost impossible to believe.

It was a moment, one that needed to be seized. She could think of only one thing to do, and slowly she leaned in a little closer. Aylin hesitated only a second, as she watched to see if He would pull away, before continuing to lean in pressing her lips to his in the sweetest of kisses.

It lasted only a fleeting second as the waitress approached the table with a pair of servers behind her. All of them had plates in their hands loaded with food. "Alright, thats three orders of spiced beef in Bell Peppers..." She said as she placed the pair of plates she had been carrying in front of Aedan, one of the servers behind her followed suit placing one of his plates on the table too. "And A specialty Meat platter for the lady." The second server placed a large tray on the table in front of Aylin. "Will there be anything else?"

Aylin blushed as they were interrupted in their moment. her blush only furthered when she saw the giant try of food being placed in front of her. when the waitress asked if there was anything else she needed right now Aylin shook her head politely as she looked over to Aedan. He himself had a rather large meal ahead of him too.

The kiss lasted only a few seconds, but they were the greatest few seconds in Aedan Ezikiel Drago's life. The servers quickly appeared to interupt the moment, setting out there food, Aedan smiled brightly, brief or not he felt amazing.

Aedan looked to the waitress and shook his head, "I believe we're good thank you." She nodded and left. He turned back to Aylin and smiled, "It all looks really good but....," he leaned in and stole another quick kiss, "I'm afraid I'm a bit distracted." He chuckled, "would you prefer we wait until we get back to your house? I find you amazingly charming."

Aylin let out another giggle as Aedan stole another fast kiss. Stole was really a strong word though. In truth You couldn't steal something someone would let you have, and she would certainly let him have that and maybe more. For now though they had the task of dinner still to complete, and a faint rumbling in her tummy suggested that she would need to eat. "Lets pick up back in more private conditions." She said smiling as she picked up her knife and fork in preparation for the feasting that was soon to happen.

"So. It turns out that my stomach is actually not much bigger than a normal humans." She started as she took a quick bite. People often wanted to know how she ate so much, when it appeared that all of her organs were contained within her human half. "But the rest of my system is super efficient, and I have incredibly strong stomach acid. So things break down really quickly." Given her large body it was required that she constantly took in large amounts of food, and with the increased digestive capabilities she was able to maximize her intake.

"Sorry... That probably wasn't the most romantic thing to say." She said with a little blush.
