Morrigan had had a degree of trouble settling into things here on Manta Carlos. Things were just so different. So open. So much heretical stuff going on. Still, she wanted to try and experience life outside of the compound. And her Keeper kept telling her to step outside of her comfort zone. So she had gotten a part time job. Just waitressing at some place called the Cove.

It hadn't been too difficult to get the hang of working. And it wasn't a lot, but it had afforded her some spending money. So she was out trying to to shop, to find new clothes. Since all she had was the clothes that the school had given her. She wanted to be bold. Be adventurous. Maybe not too adventurous though...

Walking through the racks of clothes, Morrigan was a little overwhelmed. She didn't know where to begin, what styles were even something she could pull off. Her clothes back home had been simple. Loose white dresses that showed no figure, for the most part. Part of the virginal, holy ideal she was meant to embody.

Morrigan sighed and looked at her Keeper, the invisible angel of death over her shoulder. But she was silent. This was outside of her area of expertise.

Dragomir was addicted to shopping, honestly. Before, when she had been a poor barista in Romania, it had been more of a problem but in Manta Carlos she had received more money to support this hobby of hers. And now that Dragomir's clothing line was pretty popular on a smaller scale she could actually buy almost any clothing she wanted, within reason obviously. Though she still preferred to make most of her clothes herself.

Dragomir was taking a breather from assignments and...other things that had been going on and was now going around one of her favourite clothing stores, that didn't sell alternative style clothing. Dragomir liked all stylish clothes, even if they weren't made of black leather or didn't have holes in them. Though it must've looked strange to some, a woman wearing sunglasses and who had full-on gothic punk style shopping for clothes that obviously weren't something she would wear. A peach coloured flowy top with a lacy hem and embroidered with cherry blossoms. Dragomir thought it was quite cute, would fit some of he friends well.

Dragomir slipped the top back into the rack and saw an interesting looking skirt on the shelf on the aisle opposite of her. Dragomir went ahead and reached for it, without noticing a person coming at her from the right. Dragomir collided with her and stumbled back, her sunglasses dropping to the ground. Dragomir looked at the girl she had hit and left her sunglasses be for a second.
"Sorry, I completely wasn't looking where I was going. Are you okay?"

((The girl is Morrigan, btw XD))

Morrigan was so lost in her own head, she didn't even notice the girl who she practically tripped over. Barely catching herself on a clothes rack, Morrigan immediately started spilling into a string of apologies. Rubbing her elbow which she had hit hard.

She stopped on her sixth or seventh "I'm sorry" when she got a good look at the person she'd bumped into. Ashen gray skin. Black slcera and red irises. Tattoos. Morrigan knew without having to ask her Keeper. This girl was a demon.

"N-nay, I'm right as rain," she said, trying to pull herself to her feet and failing miserably because her knees decided that now was the time to give out. She'd walked around demons before. Mostly away from them, but still. Why couldn't she manage it now?

Dragomir was a bit amused by the wave of apologies the girl spilled out. The poor thing seemed like she wasn't used to bumping on people, or people in general. Dragomir smiled and lowered herself down to the girl's level, picking up her sunglasses as she did. The girl had a nice accent. Dragomir had a slight romanian accent but it was barely discernible, she was simply too good at english.

"Hmm, I'm not sure rain is that right then, since it looks like you can't stand. Need help?"
Dragomir had a friendly, bit amused smile as she offered the girl a hand to help her up. Her nails were carefully manicured, with red and silver little jewels that formed slithering vines. On one of her fingers Dragomir was wearing a ring that matched with her nails.

Morrigan's eye flicked between the hand offered to her and those terrifying demonic eyes. "I- uh- I mean..." She was shaking a bit now but her Keeper's voice in her head made her pause.

Carefully, Morrigan reached up and took the hand that Dragomir offered to her. Looking more closely at it, she could see how beautifully her fingernails were painted. With help she stood up and forced herself to look at the other girl's face. "Sorry about that... I think? I haven't seen too many..."

She trailed off a bit. She'd been told she shouldn't express any kind of negative sentiment towards demons. Well, may this girl wasn't even a demon. She'd met a few people who looked demonic but weren't. "I'm, ah... I'm Morrigan."

Dragomir could see how the girl was shaking a bit, and frowned slightly from confusion and concern. Was Drago scaring her? That wasn't far-fetched, since she looked intimidating with her eyes and style. But, maybe fighting through her fear, the girl eventually accepted Drago's help and took her hand, although carefully. And she still seemed timid.

Dragomir pulled the girl up, and she uttered yet another apology. Dragpmir chuckled and raised a brow slightly.
"At this rate you'll run out of apologies, though it's not possible. But you know what I mean."
Dragomir shook the girl's hand a bit in an unofficial handshake and introduced herself.
"I'm Dragomir. Good to meet you, Morrigan. Are you new around here?"

"I don't ken I can run out of- oh, yeah..." Morrigan said with a kind of nervous laugh. It was a joke, of course. She shouldn't be so nervous, her Keeper said. "It's, ah, nice to meet ye too, Dragomir."

The handshake was unexpected, and she blinked a bit but shook the girl's hand back. "Ah, yeah. I'm new to the island. Still, ah, getting used to things I s'pose."

She looked Dragomir over, really looking at her for the first time. Her clothes were a little on the dark side for Morrigan's taste, but they were efinitely nice. "I, uh... like yer nails. I ain't ever painted my nails before."

Dragomir had guessed right, the girl was new. Well, it had been quite obvious from how she acted quite nervous and seemed jumpy. Dragomir wasn't the strangest looking creature on the island, rather she was pretty close to normal. And yet she was only 1/4 human. Dragomir wondered if the girl somehow knew that and that's why acted so nervous. Dragomir kept a relaxed smile on her face as she shook and let go of Morrigan's hand.
"Don't worry, the island isn't that bad once you spend time here. Hey, I spent my first couple of weeks here locked in my room, I was so weirded out."
Dragomir let out a small hearty laugh, attempting to make Morrigan feel bit better.

"Thanks honey. You're missing out, nail art is a blast. It took forever from me to make these, even if it was worth it. But there's no way I could afford a manicure, so got to do it myself. My boyfriend hates it when I hog the bathroom."
Dragomir grinned a bit and wiggled her fingers, making the stones on them sparkle a bit in the light. She reached for the skirt she had tried to get in the first place. It was white with some black floral themed patterns, almost up her alley but not quite. Dragomir held it up, looked Morrigan up and down and held it before her with a thoughtful look on her face.
"Not bad, I like it. The cut could be a bit different but otherwise you'd rock this."

Morrigan was kind of fidgeting with her hands as Dragomir talked, unsure about the things she was saying. Would she really get used to... all of this? Did she want to? It was confusing and vaguely upsetting. But she was too worried to say anything to that effect.

But then Dragomir held up a skirt that she said that Morrigan would look good in. Morrigan, for her part, was dealing with the sudden feeling of a lump in her throat. Was that her heart? She thought so, at the very least.

"A-ah thank ye. I ain't never... shopped fer me own clothes. Everythin' back home was just me white dresses. So I don't ken what I'm doin' in here."

Morrigan seemed so fidgety and nervous Dragomir considered just leaving the poor thing alone. Maybe the last thing she needed was a scary looking gothic punk chick invading your personal time. But then Morrigan mentioned she had never shopped for her own clothes and you could almost see the slight glint in Dragomir's eyes as she saw a chance.
"White dresses have their moments, but I think you need to shake it up a bit, honey."
Dragomir had a small gentle smile as she lifted the skirt a bit, raising her other brow a bit in question.
"I study fashion design, if you're okay with it I can help you find some clothes that will look so good on you they could as well be made just for you. Or you can tell me to fuck off and mind my own business. You choice."
