Holy Christ, this place was incredible. After a couple of days, Sora finally decided to start walking downtown, and it was incredible. These buildings were so much taller, and she was almost certain that they had no reason to be there. Just to stand tall and look cool. Though they had so many things on display. There was a lot of food and rather odd looking clothing on display all over the place.

And the people were so weird. They were constantly looking at their phone things and always looked like they were in a hurry or something. Although for the most part, they weren't flying around. Wouldn't that be faster then the metal boxes or walking in the huge crowd with other people. Seems a bit silly, but still a lot of fun to look at.

Shiariel was and was not busy at the same time. Sitting down on a bench Shiariel was looking through some files she had scanned back at work to take with her. Though being 'scanned' into her 'database' wasn't really the same thing to humans. Seeing as her windows hovered in mid air and the text was all in angelic script. But Shiariel was pretty much just glass eyed as she tried to read over the contents of her files trying to look for things between the lines and under the fine print. trying to hunt for clues as to what had happened with the case.

As she sat there she looked up to catch the eye of a young woman walking down the street. Upon eye contact, even for the briefest moment, Shiariel learned what the woman's name and race was. Sora and she was an Angel. But something was different about this angel. Taking a moment to begin to study the woman more indepth Shiariel pulled up her data base for the young angel. There was almost nothing on the girl. Just that the had appeared out of no where and found her way to the island.

That wasn't right... was it? Well knowing what happened when Barakiel first came down from on high, Shiariel's back still twinged every now and again at the remembering, The Guardian Angel sprouted her wings of light and flew over to the young angel. Avoiding all the intermediate weaving her way through the crowd. "Hello there, please forgive me for a moment... You are an angel correct?"

Sora noticed a person coming by out of the corner of her eye as she turned to walk forward. It took her a moment to realize that the women was an Angel, but excitement filled her body. Wow, an actual angel here! That's great, she didn't think there were other angels here at all, and now boom, angel.

"Yes, I am an Angel. My name's Sora, I just arrived in this world about....4 or 5 days ago." She bowed to the angel, then stood up straight. Well, she seemed quite confident and pretty....Spiffy looking? She seemed quite a bit more dressed then most other angels in her world. Maybe she's the general around this area. "I'm a healer and was wondering, why are there so many buildings?"

Four or five days, that was a long time to go without anyone knowing anything about them at all. But at least now that Shiariel was here she could at least help another angel. Though Sora didn't sound the atipical angelic name. But if her thoughts on Sora were correct then things might be different where ever she came from. She certainly didn't come from the Heavens here. Something that did catch Shiariel off guard was the fact that Sora was wondering why there were so many buildings. "Well, I guess that is because we are in a city. The cities of mortals tend to be rather large here..."

Pausing for a moment Shiariel took that time to think on what Sora had said. Was that truely odd? Shiariel could remember back to the early days when human kind was walking out from their caves in fur clothing. It was a marvel, but the Guardian Angel was use to everything. It was with a small shock that Shiariel realized that she hadn't introduced herself to Sora. Turning back to the smaller angel she bowed her head slightly to an equal. "My name is Shiariel Haine, Guardian Angel for the human race. If you wouldn't mind me asking Sora, but I have no record of your name or your existence in any of the memories of Heaven. May I ask where you come from?"

Sora nodded, listening intently. Yes, that....Doesn't make any sense to her at all. So what if it was a city? It's still weird to have such large buildings. Maybe someone else will be able to answer. She didn't even have a chance to think about it too much when she introduced herself. Humans... Oh, oh, humans. She kind of knows them....? OH, yes, they are dead.

"I come from a different world. Not like off planet, it's uh...Universe, different universe. Angels and demons are at war, and I healed demons as well as angels. The other angels found out, and now I am here. If I am correct....We were fighting for control of this planet after the humans were extinct early in their species lives. Life? Anyway, not sure how they died, but angels and demons have been fighting since."

Shiariel blinked a few times trying to comprehend what Sora was explaining she gasped at the actions the other Angels of Sora's world did to her. "Oh you poor dear. And you were forced here? Or is that an accidental byproduct of being shut out from your realm?" As she spoke Shiariel could feel her motherly aspects begin to push forward.

"I'm guessing you haven't been able to get any proper sleep, or any rest what so ever. Come, as an Angel of Heaven I think it's well within part of my duties to look after a cousin of sorts from another realm. Come, follow me and we can talk as we fly to my home. I can get you some food and maybe some clothing. I think I can pull out some clothing out of my closet that might not fit me any more..." Shiariel spread her wings and began to float into the air. "...Come, it is not far away."

Sora nodded , starting to fly up a bit. Well, she didn't want to impose. She should really be figuring these things out on her own. But having someone to teach her about the place wouldn't be a bad idea. Besides, she was a guardian angel, and she wasn't obsessed with war and fighting.

"In my world, we don't have to eat as much. We adapted our bodies in ways so that we can optimize ourselves for war. I mean, it happened ages before I was born of course, but...." She shook her head, rubbing at her eyes. Wow, yeah, she really hasn't gotten any good sleep in the past few days. "...But a nap would be nice."

As they began to fly through the air towards Shiariel's home Sora began to explain a little about herself. Saying that she wouldn't need to eat as much but that still told Shiariel that the girl needed some food at least and that she would really like a nap. "Well Sora, my son just recently moved out to go live with his girlfriend in their own place so we have a free bed at the moment. I'll just have to tell Barakiel that he needs to change over to the sofa again."

Turning her head as she flew she had almost forgotten to explain things about her home. "Oh and just so you know when you meet him. Barakiel is pretty much as ignorant of the mortal world as you are. Please do not ask him any questions as he will probably try to lead you to do something foolish. If you need anything ask me or if my son is around ask Soren."

It was a short flight and Shiariel descended until she put her feet on the ground inf ront of her house. "And here we are. Home sweet home..." Shiariel put a hand on the door frame and smiled sadly. Sam had explained that expression to her and the importance of a home. Yet at the moment her home didn't quite feel right as she had essentially her boss crashing on her couch and her son had moved out. Things were certainly different from what she assumed they would be at this stage in her life. However she opened the door and motioned for Sora to come in. "Now, what sort of snack would you like to have? Seeing as how you probably don't need to eat anything more from how it sounded to me."

Sora nodded, appreciating the fact that she would get the bed. Though she did feel a bit sorry for whoever this Barakiel person. They would probably be fine in the long run though. And the info about not asking him for any advice was pretty helpful. She didn't say much, starting to fight of the weariness of the past few days.

With the two of them landing, Sora nodded, entering the house. "I don't really know, I guess something simple would be nice. Thank you again for letting me stay in your home and helping. If there is anything I can do for you, please let me know." She smiled, bowing at the guardian angel. It was nice too see one living up to their name a bit instead of being a solider. Comforting, even, which showed on her bright face.

"A sandwich it is then." Shiariel said with a smile, she was helping someone and that was a good thing. Though Shiariel worked for the local PD in their CSI department the direct act of helping someone felt more immediately satisfying. "And it's no trouble to open up the spare bed room. If you want to stay for long term though I may have to assign some chores to help with upkeep on the house... How old are you if that isn't impolite to ask? To me you look around 16 or 17 years old but... well I'm as old as this universe so I guess I can't be a very good judge of that" Shiariel laughed as she finished making up the sandwich and put it on a plate.

"If you wish, I think the Academy might take you in for school if you want to do that. Or if you are a healer like you say you might be able to be a nurse at the hospital. Those are potential options for you if you intend to stay and need something to do with your days."
