There he was, in the forest in the middle of the night. Cappy could be called an idiot, he could be called stupid, he could be brave but let's face it, he's in the woods. AT NIGHT! He would slowly walk around only using the moonlight that shined in between the leaves and branches to light his path. The boy would stop to take in a deep breath and slowy exhale. Yes this is what he wanted. The forest gave him a weird feeling he felt alive here. Yeah Malibu had all the fancy cars and fine dinning but the noise , everything was an distraction. He couldn't get this in Malibu without being followed by paparazzi. A grin would slowly spread across his face as he closed his eyes and visualized his ancestors. His parents, his sisters, no one got him. They lost their path and got distracted by fame and money but Cappy was different. Walking deeper into the forest the boy could imagine his ancestors in a forest like this, hunting, living, peaceful and enjoying themselves.
His grandmother and grandfather always told him the tales of The great Zawakoti tribe and what it was before technology advanced. The forest had a strong smell of mint which irritated him as he continued to walk through the forest. If only his grandparents where here, they would tell him all about the bushes and trees in this forest. They were people of the land after all. Being arrested and somewhat disowned could be one of the greatest things that happened to him so far, it introduced him to a world he could only dream about , read about or act. All this admiring the forest came short however as he ran into a tree. Ouch. Rubbing his nose he would check for his crown which he saw roll off deeper into the forest. "Comeback! Crap." He said as he ran after it. The crown was nothing special to others however to him it meant something. It was a gift from his grandmother a gift he received on his eighth birthday and kept until now.
So here he was running in the forest after some homemade crown. For a second he almost forgot about the crown as he, for a brief moment felt like he was like the heroes his grandmother described to him in the stories. His chase would come to a stop when he saw his crown roll in front of something big.....something furry. He would slowly creepy forward as he tried to control his heavy breathing. Cappy reached forward to pick up the crown until he saw the it. A beast caught in a trap.
He didn't exactly know if he should pick up the crown and run or something. He didn't know! He was about to freak out until he saw the blood. His body seemed to move on it's on as he began to try and pry open the trap not exactly knowing what he was trying to save.
