Amber might be young but always had ambitions to try her hand at student council elections. Having always been a model student and brimming with many ideas on how to help out the school, she thought maybe this was they year she would try to run for a position: Student President no less. Okey maybe she was being a little too ambitious but she felt like she ready. At least right up until returned home after signing-ups that the whole scope of of the election thing started to kick in. Then she started to feel a lot less ready but at least she had her mom to help her organize everything she had in the planning stages!

"So I am thinking that... maybe to first get my name out there I will start off getting a bunch of posters printed. I think the school resources should cover the printing cost but that is something I should check out a little more. Then me, Dalia, and few other friends can put them all over the school! I am also thinking about hosting a bake sale sort of things and talk to people while they enjoy cake and other sweets. People like that sort of thing. I feel we should try be as inclusive as can possibly can so that there is something that everyone can enjoy to eat or drink. Oh oh oh! For my platform I want promote positivity and inclusivity to new students off the island because those kids almost always have struggle acclimating. I think we should focus more on helping such kids adjust to the shock of such a new environment trying to have positive engagements with."

After laying out all of her thoughts, she paused to think it all over. In her head it all sounded good but it was one thing to have have good ideas, its another to put them to practice. Then she looked to her mother, the wisest person she knows, and asks:

"What do you think mom? Anything to... suggest? Oh! I need slogan! How could I forget that!"

Chloe was trying not to grin too much.

She was so proud of Amber, and so proud of how much empathy she had. And so much enthusiasm! Chloe didn't know where she was getting all of this, but it was adorable. Chloe's love and pride all balanced out the fact that, she knew, she would be doing some extra work to support her beloved daughter in this effort.

She could still squeeze some more time out to support her.

"I think you have a great platform," she said. "There's always new students coming in, and it does feel like we could be doing more to help them. I know I was pretty lonely when I first got here. The main piece of advice I'd give is... you can ask, but don't expect your friends to all pitch in to help you with this. And make sure they know you appreciate any help they do give you.

Now... let's think of a slogan." She leaned against the counter, considering it. "I think it should be something that says... you know, that you're doing this because you want to help people." Something that got across her enthusiasm could be adorable, and adorable could win votes here.

"Oh yeah, your right. It would a bit much to expect everyone to help me. I'll be sure to ask but if they can't then I'll understand. Everyone has their own obligations after all but whatever help I can get I will be sure to appreciate." agreed at her mother's advice. A little piece of wisdom that she will forever keep in mind in the future.

"Ohh yeah! Thats exactly why I am doing so... uhhh..." Amber takes moment to scribble a few things down, trying to think of something work with. "Put your care in Amber? Nah. Help me, help you? Mhmmm maybe. A voice of reason? This kinds of hard..."

Amber then consults her phone and loads up a website to help get some ideas for slogans.

"Hrmmm... Vote Amber, get answer? Hrmmm. No blabber, vote Amber? Heh but nah.Putting the students first... yeah that is totally me. What about: Just plain smart? Catchy but maybe a bit egotistical. Yeah... well what do you think mom? Do did you like any of my slogans or came up with few of your own?"
