On his way to the dorm room that was assigned to him, Shinji stared at the paper that seemed to be some type of map for the newer students. Again, he didn't even pay attention to what was in front of him and ran into many things including a few walls. All he had to do was shrug it off and go through with what he was doing. Once he was close, he stopped for a moment to look around the hall. "This is the hall apparently, but what is the room number again?" He asked himself as he looked back down to the paper. He scanned the paper for moments before he saw the actual room number at the bottom of the page. "Ah here we are, room number 322. Now lets see where are you." He said s he began walking further down the wooden framed hallway. It was beautifully crafted and it was a wonder that someone would be able to do something like this. He wondered how long it took said person to design and build this. But that wasn't the matter now. As he approached the other end of the hall, he noticed that the room numbers were ascending by number. "318, 319,320,321..." He said to himself within his thoughts as he finally made it to the designated the room. He stood outside of the room for a moment and thought about how he was finally at the academy in one piece and could finally go out and explore the place. But first, he had to get settled into his room. No one said anything about a roommate so he wasn't expecting anyone.

Upon opening the door to the dorm room, Shinji saw that everything was rather dusty. It seems that no one has vacated this room yet. "Well isn't this just so spiffy?" he said sarcastically to himself to give himself a proper room warming. It was his way of getting suited into a place or with others. It makes him feel just a little better inside. Aside from his jokes, Shinji looked around and saw that everything was perfectly placed. There were two individual bed in case of the factor of roommates moving in, both with deep blue sheets and comforters. The pillows were large and fluffy. The floor was made of hard would that was covered with a softener to keep splinters and cracks away. There was a small television in the same room about 5 feet away from the beds. There was one large window on the wall furthest from the door and it held a balcony from the underlying pane. Walking into the living quarters of such a room there was a small den to just lounge in. This place was truly spectacular.

Shinji sat on the bed closest to the window and looked outside. The moon was bright and everything was perfectly held in its place by the still breeze. "Ah, before I even unpack, I want to check out the roof if nothing else." Shinji said before standing up and walking to the door. There was a key on the desk next to the door and he assumed it was to the door and took it with him. After closing said door, he locked it with the key and headed to where he believed the roof would be. The roof was always his favorite place to go no matter where he was. It was so relaxing.

It took Shinji a about 6 minutes to get back to his dorm room since he was moving a little slower now that he was pretty tired. His hands still in his pocket, he crept through the halls not knowing if many people were asleep. The seemingly new floors cooperated with him not making any sounds such as creaking nor squinting. This made his journey back to his room rather easy. Once there, he pulled only his right hand from his pocket with his key. Attempting to unlock his door, he made many mistakes that only showed the full extent of how tired he was. He missed the lock about 3 times as well as dropped the key making a loud noise. He cringed hoping that no one was disturbed. Stopping his actions for a minute or two to see if anyone would come to see what was going on out in the hallway, he was truly alarmed and hoped that no one else was. "Jeez, I can't even do a simple task like opening my room door. This is annoying." He whispered to himself. Finally he was able to open his door after picking up his key. He slowly walked in and set his key on the table next to the door. Shinji was now able to get in the bed and rest. The longer he stayed up, the more tired he felt which was weird. Maybe it was a small side effect of what Cytus did. It didn't really matter to him because he had no worries. He was happy to help and feared little at what may have happened. Closing the door, Shinji almost leaped into bed not even changing clothes or anything. He was just extremely tired to ever extent. He fell asleep within only a few minutes of laying on his bed.

While in bed, he dreamed of his experiences at the academy. He pictured all of the people that may have been there. People of every shape size and power. The first person he saw was one who obtained wings, specifically whit, feathery, angel wings. This 'angel' was a guy who seemed to know everyone in the school and was the most reliable person that anyone would ever meet. Seems about right considering his 'angel' wings. Another person that was seen in the halls was short boy who seemed to be around Shinji's age and physical appearance besides the height difference. He was a show off though. He talked to all of the girls that also went to the academy and showed off his power. As Shinji got closer to this boy, he saw that he was also one to be able to wield the power of lightning although he was using it for all the wrong reasons. Trying to get the attention of girls and showing off in front of the guys was the absolute opposite of what he should be doing with his power. It was a privilege to have such abilities and anyone that did wrong with them was frowned upon by Shinji not that his opinion really matter to anyone but himself.

After awhile of this dream, Shinji woke up slowly. His body was hanging half way off of the bed and his window was standing wide open. Shinji slowly opened his eyes to the light of the sun. It was dim to him though because of his own eyes. Good thing too or else it would have definitely destroyed his corneas. As he stood up from his bed and looked outside, it was a beautifully perfect day to go outside and practice his powers as well as meditation. He had to stay calm if he ever wanted to keep his power in check. Although, he did see that there was a power training class in the academy, he would much prefer to take that later on in his time there rather than doing it now. After about 45 minutes of getting himself ready for the day as well as putting away his belongings from the night before, he was ready to go. He wore a black and white stripped hoody, a white T-shirt and some blue jeans that were crinkled at the bottom from them being longer than his actually pants size. This was perfect for him though. Walking out of his dorm room, and grabbing his key along the way, Shinji was ready to start his first real day at the academy that was so prominent in its way of teaching.
