Oh god, they wanted it bad! Pan rolled their eyes slightly as their gaze slid across the sea of bodies, searching for the one. That perfect person who they could grab and pull in close. They wanted to feel that body warmth. That claiming crashing feeling that came with a wonderful embrace.

Pan hadn't craved this feeling in quite some time but even after ten years, it was still the same.

Suddenly Pan froze, their stomach pulling them out of the day dream their thoughts had been swirling around in. Their chest tightened and they could feel their internal pump beginning to push harder, forcing that blood like substance that coursed through them to move about the body quicker.

Pan moved away from the crowed she been surrounded by and into the corner of the room. Things were starting to get weird. As Pan looked down at their clothes they realized how un-prepared they were for this night. They could feel their chest tightening slightly as everything was going around and around and around...

In an instant Pan was out the door of the building and into an open street. It was amazing how good the cool air felt yet..nope cool air couldn't fix everything. Pan dove for the nearest trash can, their head disappearing into the dark hole of nothingness.

After less than a minute of not so great noises, Pan's head shot out of the trash can as he scanned around the space. There were a decent amount of people outside the club, but none seemed to terribly interested in the golden, vomiting demon. Especially once Pan gave a small nod, as if to signal to all watching that they were doing fine, before shoving themselves back onto their feet and away from the trash can.

Now they just needed to find the one..

Havoc did not consider his body a temple, but he didn't consider it a garbage bin either. Thankfully, there were a wide variety of grocery stores that would suit his needs nearby, allowing him to stock up on high quality ingredients at prices that seemed suspiciously cheap compared to what they'd have cost in the states.

Not that he'd spent much time at home since shipping out. Home time was boring, and being on duty was not.

It was, strictly speaking, past his bedtime. Havoc was the kind of person who was in bed asleep before ten, and cutting through the city at eleven was unusual for him. He'd have preferred to be at home in bed, only one of his roommates had helped themselves to his food, leaving him without several important ingredients.

Cutting through the city was always an exercise in fighting his instincts. His instinct, as with almost anything, was to look for threats. Only the island of Manta Carlos was composed of nothing but threats. Everywhere he looked were people with teeth and spikes and giant scorpion tails.

He completely missed the golden demon as he scanned the crowd, his eyes flicking over hers in favor of staring at a man a few feet to her right with massive claws.

They would certainly go through his clothes like they were tissue paper, but from the way they looked he suspected they'd go through a bulletproof vest as well.

Before arriving on the island, Pan had three forms that they took; golden demon, human female, and human male. It was entirely possible for them to mix these forms up a bit more but before arriving at Manta Carlos, that wasn't the safest thing to do. Now they lived in a place where you could look however you wanted and no one gave two fucks about it. After all, they were standing next to a creature with claw hands and no one seemed to even take notice.

Pan's form was a golden, demonic female form. It was interesting changing their sex while keeping the same skin on..that was probably the best way they could explain it. They wore a dark blue dress that complimented their curves and matching shoes that made their legs look fantastic.

As they were scanning the crowd, their eyes locked with whoever they could. The only way that Pan's mind reading ability worked was if both parties made eye contact. Most thoughts boiled down to "I'm drunk", "I want food", "I want to fuck" along with a couple other random topics. It was unfortunately not a very exciting crowded.

Their eyes met momentarily with the creature next to them with huge claws. They were thinking about getting a cab so they could go home and check on their pet soon. Pan wasn't sure what kind of pet a creature with claws had but she supposed a turtle or something was probably the safest thing for that creature to own.

They noticed someone new on the scene though; a man carrying groceries and looking rather out of place in the crowd of drunk party people taking a break from the chaos that was inside the club. Their eyes were locked on the creature with claws so Panaria couldn't get a good look into their eyes.

They pushed themselves up the rest of the way and started to move in front of the creature with claws, as if heading back inside. This would hopefully make the man break his stare and give Panaria a glimpse into his mind..

There were simply so many tactical applications, things that he was absolutely sure the average citizen of the island had never considered. Someone with the ability to fly was capable of combat in three dimensions, able to go up and down in a way that the average soldier never could. Someone who could breath fire was a walking flamethrower, far more easily resupplied. Every power had some kind of application, and next to none of them would ever see real combat.

Disappointing.

Havoc dragged his eyes away from the man with his massive claws, his eyes flicking up as a golden woman--woman? demon? Did demons have sexes? Who knew--passed through his line of sight.

Well, she certainly was a woman either way, but certainly not his type, and he set his thoughts elsewhere--mostly to how he could use his fire to cast light as practice.

Pan was not feeling well though they were trying their best to act like they were. Even after throwing up they were still trying to show resilience.

Why bother with any of this? They thought for a second...wait...was that their thought? Sometimes Pan randomly looked into others eyes and accidentally heard their thoughts and mistook them for their own. That usually only happened when they were severely intoxicated..like right now.

Looking into the man's eyes, Panaria felt...well, that was weird.

Someone didn't think she was their type? That hurt her feelings somehow though that didn't really make sense. Oh well. When did nything ever make ny sense.

Pan was going to convince them that they were indeed their type. They didn't know how they were going to do that but they had done it many times before. They could definitely do it now.

They walked up to the person smiling, "You know that guy could chop a lizard in half with those things." She said motioning to claw man.

Havoc was not a terribly social person to begin with, and having someone randomly speak to him was unusual. Having someone practically respond to his thoughts was something else.

Of course, after a second Havoc realized that the woman--strange and certainly not human--was simply reacting to the fact that he was looking rather obviously at the man with the claws.

"He likely could," Havoc confirmed. "Assuming he had the muscle mass. But it would depend on the type of lizard, and how large it was I suppose."

Maybe he was being too technical about things.

Of course, he assumed it was a simple observation, and opted to simply carry on the way he was going, leaving Panaria behind.

It never even occurred to him that Panaria might have been flirting.
