
Sofia picked up the scent and sounds of Colette and her bird as they romped into the kitchen. It was rather lively with the kids around; she hadn't gotten to spend too much time with them, but she liked them all individually, and their different personalities. They got along with each other, and that was more than enough to ask.
She opened her mouth to introduce Riley to Colette, but the girl found that she was able to introduce herself just fine, so Sofia continued to move about the kitchen with a peaceful grace about her.
"Turkey, among other things," she replied to Colette's question. It didn't occur to her that these kids probably had no idea what Thanksgiving even was, since they'd all grown up here on the island.
