His chest is wide, and he has a prominently defined abdomen. His eyes do have a constant wicked gleam to them. Some people find them endearing, while others find them unnerving. Their deep gray color adds to their intensity. He has small gauges in each ear, along with a right eyebrow piercing, and two snake bites on either side of his lower lip. He tends to don casual, formal clothing or things that make him appear to be in college. He fancies wearing many rings on his fingers and other accessories on his wrists, neck, etc. His hair is lightened from the sun at the top and sides, with an undercut of dark brown. His skin, while not brown, is certainly sun-touched. |

Personality
Terence is enigmatic. Not capricious like most of his brethren. He is extremely outgoing and chatty to the point that he tends to come off dimwitted or flighty. Despite his penchant for getting into fist fights and drinking excessively, Terry isn't as stupid as he tends to come off.
By a long shot, he enjoys the role of a follower, or a second-in-command more than a leader. When left to his own devices, he's aimless and unfocused. Easily distracted by a good time. Terry rarely gives things the consideration of his full attention.
Always the flirt, Terry is good with rejection – he gets it enough – and laughs off insults people throw at him.
As a fighter Terry is quicker to temper than he lets on. Insulting his friends or those he cares for is a good way to get a beating. As a Pookah, when physical intimidation won't work, Terry is skilled at manipulation and craftiness.
Abilities
Actives
Imperceptibility: Terry becomes invisible, odorless, and untraceable via technology. He cannot be targeted by magic such as telepathy, or anything that requires a target.Terry is still very much a part of the world. He can be felt and struck. He can be heard, and when he interacts with things in the world, they change.
Unnoticeability: Terry can make himself easily overlooked by the people around him. This isn't invisibility, but a play on people's perception. Unless someone is directly looking for him or he brings attention to himself by doing something unnatural or loud. He must actively concentrate to keep this aura over himself.
Passives
Enhanced Condition: Terry is a hint stronger and more durable than most people, not enough to be easily detected or exactly considered supernatural. He can take an unusually good beat down, but he has no extra healing. His agility and stamina are closer to the realm of the supernatural without breaking the human limit.
The real enhancement over an average human comes in the form of Terry's wit and natural-born charisma. Specifically, the latter is put to good use. There's just something about him people like, a natural confidence.
He can have and hold a conversation with anyone; he's got a winning smile and an easy-going nature about defeat that has people drawn to him and devoted. It isn't mind magic, or anything as strong, but it does give him a good first impression and many impressions after that. When he's bad, he's good, and when he's worse, he's better.
Longevity: Terry has an extended lifespan. It's unknown how long his entire lifespan will be, but it will certainly be somewhere in the hundreds.
Not Like Other Fae: The nature of the Pookah as a species is both curse and blessing. They do not take offense easily and they can lie (in fact they commonly elaborate greatly on their stories). They aren't as open about debts they owe and don't seem as magically bound to it, although they will repay kindnesses offered to them. Unlike most Fae, Terry is not capable of giving someone the Mark of The Fae, although he can still see them.
Shapeshifting: While the most commonly known form for a Pookah to take is that of a darkly colored horse, they are capable of transforming into a few other select forms.
In any of his forms, Terry's other abilities are still in effect. He is also able to talk and his voice sounds the same as it does while he is human. Terry can transform into a:
Canine: Terry appears as a sleek black dog just a little larger than a German Shepard, with about the muscle mass of one. His eyes are the same reddish orange color they appear in all of his forms. He possesses all the normal powers of an actual dog.
Feline: In his cat shape, Terry comes off like a street cat. He's busted up, and his fur is ragged. The only thing directly 'off' about him is his glowing red eyes. He possesses all the normal powers of an actual cat.
Horse: Terry stands at 22 hands even, with dainty seeming legs and a long fluffy tail that is closer related to a cat's than a horse's.
Despite his frail-seeming form, Terry gallops faster than the average horse at 40 miles per hour, with stamina that allows him to go on like this consecutively for a half an hour. He's about as agile as a mountain goat, able to leap far and land on small mountain ledges.
Atop his head sit two long, red horns used primarily for a last defense.
As the legend goes, no man can ride the Pookah. Terry is no different. It is impossible to hold onto Terry if he wants to buck you off.
Monkey: Has dragonfly-like wings on his back. They don't do anything in the way of flight, but they do make an annoying buzzing noise when used.
His ears are perhaps a little long and pointed for any monkey's to ever be, but beyond this, he works like your average monkey. Good at climbing and being a nuisance.
Rabbit: This form represents more a rabbit and hawk crossbreed. About as large as a normal rabbit, with the exception of thick talons and large wings and a long, lion-like tail. Terry can fly, or more accurately glide short distances.
Weaknesses
Iron: Terry is wounded by iron. Being in its mere presence is enough to harm and weaken him. Being put in a cage of iron, or a jail cell with iron bars is particularly dreadful for him. This has all the effect of being chemically burned with none of the physical attributes (unless directly stabbed or likewise).
Pookah's Share: When gifted, it is added to Terry's Pookah share for that one person. He cannot cause them harm or anguish. The better the gift, the more he will help said person. Terry himself fancies gaudy things and items of sentimental value. A throwaway gift (such as gas station trinkets) will get the person nothing. Children get off easier than adults.
Once gifted, it is in his nature to repay the debt by helping this person, though not nearly as directly as most other Fae are known to. He isn't magically inclined to do what is directly asked of him but rest assured it will be paid in full.
Story Time: Can't pass up an excuse to tell a story and very conversationalist, social creatures as far as the Fae are concerned. Unless he is in immediate danger, he can't help but stop and chat for a bit if asked.
History
○ Terry was left at the doorstep of a barren couple when he was only a few days old. They knew what he was immediately upon seeing the basket he slept in. Weaved of horsehair, crop stems, and threading, it was unquestionably left by a Pookah.○ Growing up, Terry's life was relatively normal. He did see his biological mother from time to time as he got older. She was always a black mare and left after teaching him how to operate his Fae abilities.
○ His da died when Terry was fourteen after a period of illness, leaving Terence to be the man of the house. He took to responsibility well.
○ Upon adulthood, Terry took to the road, using his nature as a Pookah to get free food and other things from the country folk. When he grew bored of that, he entered himself into underground fighting, where he met Fitzroy for the first time.
○ Terry didn't officially accept to be a part of Fitz's group until years later when their friendship grew. After Fitz left for Starlight Academy, Terry was tasked with keeping the members of their little squad in order. He withheld the letters Fitz sent to them to give himself an excuse to go to Starlight Academy.
Resources
Poor income. Most of the things he has are through grifting. A heavy spender with a mediocre job.
Extra
○ Over the course of his time on the road, Terry learned sleight of hand and other more practical skills. He keeps custom made loaded dice, a lockpicking set, a deck of marked cards, and a set of silver knuckles with him always.
