Jasmine wasn't sure how to answer the question, and she shrugged as she fumbled over her words for a few seconds. "Well I mean, ah- ya know, people here seem more willing to help with things than other places. So many people are, like, I dunno..."

She trailed off, mumbling a bit and tugging lazily at her braid with a frown. She sighed and fiddled with the necklace that she had started wearing in the place of her rosary since coming to live here.

Bel nodded. "I think I understand. People here are more civic-minded. They truly want to help others out if they can," the young goddess explained as she gave Jasmine an understanding smile.

"It's sort of normal though. Being the sort of place we are," she pointed out. "A lot of people are alone here... and I think in a way it's us wanting to connect and form groups with others. Humans and other species tend to naturally be social animals," Bel smiled.

"Besides, if we didn't try to get along, the island would be chaos," she added.
