Teddy is an orc and so naturally he is quite huge with his 7'2" height. But Teddy is in many ways much smaller than his orc brethren, in both height and muscularity. Teddy is still quite muscular and buff but much slender than orcs are normally. His body looks humanoid.
Teddy's skin is white or light gray and he has several large scars on his body and face. Teddy's biggest scars go across his pecs and on his face the most noticeable scars go across his both cheeks and right eye.
Teddy's facial features are rough and crude to say the least but he is not downright ugly and lacks the large fangs the rest of his family has. He does has sharp canines. Teddy has small yellow eyes and low brows that makes it look like Teddy is glaring at everyone. His nose is flat and high on his face and his chin is a bit crooked due to being broken once.
Teddy has no eyebrows or hair and his ears are pointy.
In clothing Teddy much prefers suits and ties, and he likes to look presentable wherever he is. He has to use reading glasses.

Teddy is quite as un-orc, or so his brethren back in his world used to say. Teddy appreciates using proper language and grammar, and often in public he can't resist fixing other people's speech. He's clean, polite and has a really pleasant, clear voice you want to listen to for hours. Thus he became a radio and television personality. You could say Teddy is a perfect gentleman. Except he does say rude things when he is angry, which in itself happens quite rarely. But you can barely recognize them as insults when Teddy phrases them "Do excuse me sir, but I think you are being a complete imbecile, if I may say so." with his perfect English accent. But Teddy finds anger a waste of time.
Teddy sounds and talks pleasant but his looks are intimidating, if not downright scary. His lack of fangs and height does not count out the intense look in his glaring eyes. Teddy is scary right up until the moment he speaks.
Teddy has a lot of patience in dealing with people but he doesn't have much capability for empathy or sympathy. Teddy has not once in his life cried and only few times he has felt sad. Teddy is not a sociopath but he has difficulties relating to other people, since that was basically forbidden where he came from and on top of that Teddy spent most of his life isolated and cast aside. But Teddy is a good actor and has studied psychology so he can feign feelings when needed.
Teddy is an intelligent man and he enjoys reading and studying about new things. He is good at adapting and is rarely fazed by new or surprising situations.
Teddy does have the thirst for the truth and curiosity that every journalist needs. He has good instincts that with he can hunt down good stories.

Extended Lifespan: Teddy has an extended lifespan and he will live for about 300-500 years.

Toughness: Teddy's body is incredibly tough and hard, actually almost like rock, and it's as hard to damage. Teddy can take many strong blows and his skin is hard to penetrate with ordinary weapons.

Strength: Teddy is really strong and can lift little over a ton.

Soothing Voice: Teddy has a unique ability unlike his brethren's normal yell attack and instead he has naturally soothing voice. If Teddy activates this power all people who hear it, even through radio, television or otherwise indirectly, will feel calmer and find themselves drawn to listen to Teddy's words and voice. The power is not strong enough to cause any accidents or harm, and its effect weakens if the voice is prodcasted indirectly.

Teddy is originally from another dimension, very different from Earth. This world was almost always at war and was filled with all kinds of different species. The species were the ones always warring against each other. Teddy was born to that world, the runt of an orc family.
Their village was all orcs and they were really big on traditional orc way of life. So even Teddy, originally named Tedagog, despite being the runt of the family was marked with the scars that were supposed to bring him glory on the battlefield.
Teddy, as you could expect, didn't fit in at the village that well. From young age he was very different and didn't want to partake in the normal orc activities, such as battle training, mud baths or messy feasts. Teddy earned the nickname un-orc and became quite isolated. Teddy didn't mind, loneliness was something he could easily bear.
Years went past and even Teddy became quite knowledgeable with fighting. Knowleadgable enough that his family told him to go to war like his brothers did. Teddy of course refused, since just the idea of war seemed useless and stupid to him. But Teddy was forced to go with the next battalion heading to the front lines.
On the way to the battlefield Teddy did the thing all orcs loathed over everything: He fled. Teddy knew he would surely perish on the battlefield, he was not a fighter. It was the most reasonable thing to do if he wanted to live. And he did.
Teddy, knowing about other worlds(he had secretly read some books, though orcs never did that) went to a closest human village disguised. He found a dimension mage and paid them with all his life savings so they would send Teddy to another more peaceful world. The mage did so, giving Teddy a human charm as an extra.
The mage sent Teddy to Earth, somewhere in the US, after a brief explanation. And then Teddy, now 24, was on his own. He adopted a new name and started anew, disguising his orc nature with the human charm he received.
The first months Teddy was confused, naturally, but he adapted fast and started doing small jobs here and there to earn his keep. First Teddy lived on the street and motels but after a year or so he was able to rent his first shabby apartment.
Teddy got scouted by a minor radio producer a few years after arriving to Earth and he started doing minor appearances in radio. But the listeners really liked Teddy's voice and minorly using his power Teddy was able to climb his way to television. His human, however, was not a good quality and after years of usage it slipped when Teddy was on his way home from work. Teddy was able to hide before more people could see him but few people had seen a tall, tall man turn into a tall, tall monster.
Naturally the academy's scouts heard about it and tracked Teddy down. Teddy, who was smart and reasonable, came with them without any qualms and the scouts were surprised to find such a pleasant orc. Teddy posted his resignation to the tv station and went to Manta Carlos. He was 30 at the time.
Teddy has now been on Manta Carlos for about a year and was quickly after his arrival able to get a job at Orc Worthy productions studios.
