Tears.... they streamed down a girls cheek. Her hair straght down, her eyes opened tears pouring down. And what rested in her hands would startle someones eyes, in her hands she held a beautiful dagger, it rested in her gloved hands. The point was at her stomach. "I'm a monster, thats all I am, a monster." Jillian said crying. She then screamed into the days air, she just wanted to be a normal girl not a monster.

A shadow cast over the girl as a male stood behind her, watching.
He raised an eyebrow at her tears, he, for one, did not show emotion much.
"Why do you cry?" Came the cold voice from the male, as he looked down at her.
His trench coat billowed in the wind, his overall Gothic appearance rather frightening.

Jillian twitched at the voice and she dropped her dagger but quickly picked it up and seathed in its scabberd in her boot. She stood and turned around and twitched again at the man's appearence. She took a deep breath and let it out. "I cry, for what I am, I cry because I kill my friends, and I try not to, I try hard, but I go out of contrel, I cry because my parents were killed in front of my eyes, I cry because I am hunted down anywhere I go." She said rage filling up in her eyes.

"Showing emotion is letting your fears get the best of you, the past haunt you, and the future unwelcoming." A blank expression reamined on his pale, unfreindly face.
His tone remained the same as well, he was not one to let on emotion or such, he thought it was for the weak.
A sigh also escaped his lips as he surveyed his surroundings, showing little curiousity.

"I am glad I'm letting my fears come out, at least I don't hide them." She said, standing her hands on her sword. "And I may fear the future, but I have reasons too fear." She said. "Now if you don't mind telling me your name and as for me , I am Jillian Wastedale." She said wiping her eyes with her gloved hand.

"Zarath." He said simply as if his own name didn't mean much, he paused, turning to look back it her.
For a second he studied her, including the sword, and continued, "I do not understand your ways and emotions, but sometimes it is easier not to let people see them." He once again paused, he was the sort of person who thought about things before he said them, "Now you may say that you were alone till I came along, but that is not true, no one is eer alone on this world, even though it may appear so. There are creatures who wander around us daily, only few being able to see them."

She knew he was right, but she still thought he was odd. "I know there are creatures, for I am like one just more of a beast." She said. "I want to ask you something, why do you care if I'm crying or not? you seem like a person that wouldn't care much about it? No offense." She asked.

"It annoys me." Normally he sounded bored or blank with a slight tinge of coldness, but his voice wasn't like that anymore. It was pure cold.
"I don't care why you cry or any of that crap, but the sound of someone sobbing annoys me." His mouth twitched a bit as if it was going to turn into a smirk as he next said, "You think I'm odd?" It was either rather obvious or he could read minds, "Well, I can't say much about you."

"It nnoys you when someone is crying and feels like they want to kill themselves." She said very annoyed and her hand griped tighter on the hilt of her sword. "And yes I do think your a bit odd, but I do everytime I meet someone, and because you dress like a fool." She said a little to angry.

"Yeah, because they think their life is bad, and little do they knowbaout the other millions of people like that." Seeming to ignore her annoyance.
"I dress like a fool?" he repeated, eyes seeming to spark a little amusement, "Now that's a first. Care to tell me why?"
