APPEARANCE
Tatyana is a tall, blonde Russian girl with blue eyes and fair skin. She stands at 5’ 8” with a thin frame--slightly but not very curvy. She has a beauty mark beneath her left eye.
She typically wears preppy clothing, and usually sports red, white, and blue to show off her love of America.
Tatyana is a very pretty girl...usually. Her other form is another story.
Beneath the surface of the cute Russian girl is a horrific eldritch abomination. The monster’s true form cannot even be properly sustained in our reality, so it morphs into an atrocity of Tatyana’s body parts and tentacles. It is about the size of a large house at its full size, though Tatyana is typically able to suppress it and keep it smaller. Tatyana has also been known to contort her body in horrific ways impossible for a human, even without transforming.

Tatyana is possessed by an Eldritch abomination that forces her to act like the happiest person alive at all times. If she doesn’t, the monster tends to take control. She does have a power suppression bracelet to keep it semi-under control but...it only works partially. The bracelet helps keep her from harming others, but it doesn’t prevent the transformation into a horrific abomination. So she acts peppy and upbeat at all times in order to prevent the horror and inconvenience of her transformations.
In truth, Tatyana is a frustrated and angry person. Who wouldn’t be, when they’re unable to express their true emotions without contouring into a painful, horrific transformation into a monster? She wants to be able to interact with others and not hide away, but she also hates how ‘fake’ she has to act to maintain a sense of normalcy. Her life is bizarre and having to act constantly happy and agreeable can lead to all sorts of unusual situations, but Tatyana remains optimistic in a way--hoping that, someday, she’ll have a power suppression bracelet or something similar that can give her better control.
Tatyana is partially deaf in her left ear. As a result, she sometimes misses when people are talking to her, and she talks louder than most people. Between being loud and her hyper-happy behavior, a lot of people tend to find her obnoxious--they think she’s trying too hard and constantly needs to be the center of attention. The problem, of course, is that she literally has no choice but to ‘try too hard’ to remain happy at all times.
In her free time Tatyana enjoys sports, especially track. The nice thing about physical activity is that, as long as she keeps a smile on her face, she can maintain her human form without having to talk about how happy she is constantly.

She is the victim of child sexual abuse, and while her memory of this abuse is incredibly vague, she still has certain ‘triggers’ that will cause her to panic and lose control suddenly. Being aggressively hit on and sexual advances for example will cause her to transform into the abomination.

ACTIVE ABILITIES
Emotional Suppression
The eldritch abomination that has taken hold of Tatyana functions on positive and negative energy. When Tatyana exhibits positive energy and is surrounded by positive energy, she is able to maintain her human form. When she behaves in a negative way or is surrounded by negative energy, the monster starts to take control.
Thanks to her power suppression bracelet supplied by the school, Tatyana is able to maintain a certain amount of control even when she’s an abomination so that she does not go berserk and kill anyone near her. However, negative energy and her transformations are incredibly painful and she tries her best to avoid such situations as much as she possibly can.

Power Suppression Bracelet
As of now, no power suppression bracelet has been able to completely prevent Tatyana’s transformations. The best she can get for now is the bracelet provided to her by the school, which does not stop the transformation but at least allows her to stay in control enough to not hurt others.
PASSIVE ABILITIES
Distorted Internal
While she may look human on the outside, Tatyana’s insides are anything but. When examined by an x-ray, it is revealed that Tatyana has no skeleton structure, nor does she have regular internal organs. She’s literally just filled with tentacles, which is why she sometimes contours her body in unnatural ways.
Heightened external
Tatyana is physically stronger and faster than an average human. She can lift around 2 tons and run about as fast as a cheetah--though like cheetahs, she can only run at her full speed in short bursts.
Regeneration
One of the…’benefits’ of the abomination is that Tatyana cannot die. (Whether she considers that an actual benefit or not is debatable.) The tentacles in her body with rebuilt her body whenever she is injured. Small wounds heal instantly, while larger injuries may take a few hours. Her regenerations can also be slowed down by destroying the tentacles. They eventually regrow themselves, but destroying the tentacles means they will take several hours to reform, and then another few hours to heal Tatyana.

HISTORY
Tatyana’s parents were part of the Aum Shinrikyo cult, a Japanese-based cult with a strong following in Russia. Tatyana only has vague memories of her childhood in the cult. One thing that always stuck out to her was that her father always told her: “You’ll become a monster when you turn 16.” She never understood what he meant exactly, and he would never properly explain.
Her father clearly had something in mind though, because he chose to make ‘use’ of his pretty daughter before she became a ‘monster’ while he could--by passing her around the cult as a child sex slave. Much of this has been blocked from Tatyana’s mind in order to protect herself, but of course the symptoms of sexual abuse never truly go away.
When Tatyana was 12, her mother had a change of heart about the cult and chose to escape. It was good timing, considering that Investigative Committee of Russia started to crack down on Aum Shinrikyo activity not long after. Her mother managed to immigrate herself and Tatyana to America, leaving Tatyana’s father who remained loyal to the cult behind.
Tatyana’s mother ended up marrying a wealthy American man--a marriage more for convenience than for love. But it worked.
Tatyana LOVED America at first, and assimilated quite easily into American culture. But the words of her father always plagued her: “You’ll become a monster when you turn 16.” As she got older, she started to become interested in the darkness of Goth culture as a way of embracing this mysterious darkness she was convinced she had within herself.
On her 16th birthday, Tatyana had no idea what was in store. The truth was that her father had made an agreement with a monster many years ago, and part of the deal was that the monster would pass down his family line to remain able to function in their reality. Clearly, Tatyana was next.
Tatyana killed her mother and step father in her suddenly, horrific transformation. Her form filled their entire home, and her parents were crushed to death.
Scouts in the area caught wind of the strange happenings quickly, and swooped in to secure Tatyana, get her under control, and get her to Manta Carlos.
She is now learning to cope with her transformation on the island.

-Fluent in Russian, English, and Japanese. Russian of course is her native language. Her English and Japanese skills are pretty good, but she tends to come off as overly-formal at times.
