Tatsuo Matsumoto

Civilian: 5'10, 220 pounds, very agile and muscular, normally where a gray hooded coat and orange shirt, dark colored jeans and boots, wears glasses and medium length brown hair.

Ninja: black and gold suit and mask, legs, forearms and chest have green light armor

Tatsuo comes off as kind, helpful if a little dorky, but with charm and intelligence and curiosity. The question is, is this the real Tatsuo? Or is the dark, serious and lethal ninja who he really is? The truth is, both are him. Two sides to the same coin. Like all people he has a dark and a light side, it's just with him he uses his darkness and vents it into his ninja persona. Despite the kindness he shows while in his civilian persona, he has trust issues brought on by the fact that his entire life was built on a lie told to him by people he considered family, but if you gain that trust it'll be near indestructible, but if you do manage to break it you'll likely never get it back. A lover of music, he often has headphones in, and is an excellent at playing piano. Unfortunately he's plagued by guilt from the assassinations he did for the clan, causing nightmares and depression though he does a decent job hiding it. He's looking for redemption, a chance to make up for the things he's done, and maybe a chance to start a new life with friends maybe eventually a girlfriend.

Shadow Power: he was trained in the mystic manipulation of shadows and darkness
-Shadow Teleportation: he's able to instantly vanish through a shadow and reappear through one within half a mile as long as he's explored the area. Otherwise he's limited to twenty feet.
Weakness: obviously if there's no shadows then he can't teleport. And the teleport can be canceled with light based magics.
-Pitch Black: he's able to encompass an area of about fifteen feet in total blinding darkness that only he can see in. The darkness only lasts about ten seconds and is used to quickly kill a target or to escape.
Weakness: the darkness can be instantly dispelled with light based magics.
-Night Eye: an affect of the magics is that he has amazing eye sight at night. Not only night vision but 20x20.
Weakness: because of this his eyes are very sensitive to light. Sudden flashes can be painfull and temporary blinding if he's not wearing protective lenses, his eye sight is also rather poor in the light because of it.
Note: he wears glasses to correct his poor eyesight in the light, and they also have a minor enchantment to protect his eyes because of their light sensitivity.

-Kenshi was a member of a powerful mystic ninja clan. The clan was powerful, acting honorably and secretly in the shadows defending the innocent.
-He had a wife, beautiful and strong, who supported her husband and the clan. Together they had a son.
-Then things changed, a new leader among the clan emerged. A leader who called himself Harada.
-Harada was strong, intelligent and skilled beyond his age. He quickly coerced many follow, began using the clan to build a criminal empire.
-Infighting started, some refused to follow Harada, Kenshi lead them.
-Eventually Kenshi and his wife were killed, and their baby was taken into the clan.
-He was raised and trained by the clan, given a new name, taught to be loyal and strong, and being lead to believe his biological family abandoned him.
-He was strong and he was loyal. Taking part in assassinations, always being taught that the clan was his family.
-Then something happened, not long after he turned 15 a dying member of the clan told him the truth about his parents
-He was shocked, and with this revelation he looked at the clan. Looked at all the things they did, and realized the the truth.
-He betrayed them, killed many members, and escaped.
-Taking on the name Tatsuo, he wandered for a year, fighting back clan assassins when needed, and assassinating high level criminals out of a belief it would make up for his past assassinations.
-During this year he also explored life outside the clan, using the few moments he wasn't wandering for this. He saw and did a good amount, went to parties, had sex, lived his life.
-Eventually he met a scout, a scout who realized Tatsuo's abilities but didn't know about his assassin background.
-The scout offered Tatsuo a place at Starlight Academy.
-Viewing the offer as a chance to rest and make plans to deal with the clan, he agreed and came to Manta Carlos, giving a false background and identity as cover in case the clan came looking.

-Is trained to be able to blend into most enviroments
-Is trained in multiple martial arts and steal techniques
Equipment:
Suit: his ninja suit is a lightweight stealth suit, underneath the chest is a bulletproof light armor.
Weapons: normally he carries a katana, but will also occasionally carry a bow with arrows, combat sticks and nunchaku
