Talon

Sheilding his eyes from the sun, Renke follwed Raoki's movements. He was glad they were both in a place where they could be free and have time together. At the other schools he had gone to, he had missed Raoki terribly. This place was perfect.

With a screech she dove down toward Renke and pulled up at the last few moments to land on his outstretched arm. He brought her closer and stroked her feathers lovingly.

"We're happy today," He said simply.

Renke noticed someone else here smoking, but he didn't know the guy so he didn't say anything. He gave Raoki a lift with getting in the air, then watched her soar on the thermals.

He glanced at the guy again but couldn't put a name with the face, so he said nothing. He just sat with his back against one of the silver air vents and his legs stretched out in front of him.

Renke heard the opening of a can and drew his attention away from Raoki to the boy. He was appalled to see the boy had a beer in his hand. Now that he as actually looking, the kid was young. A lot younger than Renke. He had to say something, right.

"Hey, kid, do you really think you should be drinking that on school grounds?" Oh, jeez, what a conservative jerk he sounded like. He couldn't think of anything else to say on the spot like this, though.

Drinking and smoking at the same time...Oh, god.

"Jeez, kid, how old are you?" He asked a little bit harshly. He couldn't help it, and this kid was going to give him attitude, he knew.

"I can assure you my eyesight is much better than your's, for one, and secondly, it's called being nice and asking instead of assuming. Or would you rather me assume you're some punk that should be reported?" He said, getting slightly heated. He pulled his legs up to him, then stood up. He didn't want this to get out of hand in any way, but this kid was being dumb.
