Charlie knowing he'd be fine as long as it missed his heart. He didn't want to dodge it for it then would hit Ezie, and he had no weapon to block it with. Partly shocked he stepped a little to the left so it wouldn't be fatal....
Charlie grabbed the star in mid air it cut his hands making it bleed but it didn't hurt him too much... "So you want to wreck your own sister's life? Some brother you are. Just for some pocket change you'd wreck your sister's life." Charlie said disgusted licking the blood from his hand...
"Follish boy, I'm not getting payed pocket change to kill a blood sucking damn." he said smirking, "I'm getting payed a hefty amount for you." He drew his sword, "I'll fight you. But I can assure you I won't go down."
"Your really a cruel brother, it doesn't matter how much the job pays. To ruin your sister's life is the worst thing a brother could do." Charlie knew he had to fight but he didn't want to.. He knew that if he killed Jake, Ezie would be upset. And if Jake killed him, Ezie would be upset... He had no weapon even if he wanted to fight. He vowed if he lived he'd find himself a weapon... He looked at Jake deep in his eyes... "You only care about the money don't you? Don't tell me you'd kill your own sister if the job payed enough..."
Charlie nodded hoping that this wasn't going to be like the other battles he had for Ezie... where someone ends up getting extra hurt... He took the sword and walked forward... "I guess we fight then."
"No you go first mortal, because it's better to respect your weakness then let me a vampire go first and win easily." Charlie said hating when people always told him to go first...
