Lunch, a simple meal he was having with a girl he cared very much about. They were in her dorm, Will had a calm smile on his face. In truth he didn't actually need to eat, but he could if he wanted to. "I've been keeping an eye on the elections," he adjusted his glasses and gave a small grin, "I'm excited for you Nia."

Ironically enough, Will had never been one for politics, heir to a throne or not, it just wasn't for him. "I'm up for helping anyway I can," the young dhampir finished his meal, "so what did you have planned?"

Nia poked a carrot with her fork as Will mentioned the elections. Her head dropped a bit and she bit the carrot off the fork chewing slowly.

She gave a small shrug as she swallowed, "I..I don't really know..." She knew that telling her friends about the election was part of her and Ven's success strategy but after she had finished making posters with Ven, her confidence in the whole idea had all but completely disappeared. As a matter of fact, when Nia had talked with her therapist about the situation he said it sounded like she had a bipolar episode that caused her decision to run.

"Ven made posters. He's out talking to school faculty about what it will take to make changes around here. I guess all this is left...is the election speech."

Will tilted his head and nodded, "you'll figure it out," he gently lifted her chin, "you're smart and stringer than you give yourself credit." He meant every word of it, he could tell she was stronger than most thought, he knew she could do it.

"I'll help put the posters up," he volunteered, wasn't much else he could do to help besides that, but he'd do it. "I'll be there, to listen to your speech," again, not much for politics but he'd be there to support her anyway he could, "I'll get front row if I can, get to see your pretty face up there."

He gently poked her cheek, "listen...I'm proud of you," she was pretty much his only real friend here, and maybe she meant more to him than he realized.

She blushed, "Thank you Will. You are always very kind.."

She had almost forgotten about the speech she had to give. Her stomach did a little flip and suddenly she felt her appetite disappearing. Why had she thought running for student council was a good idea? She wanted to change the subject.

"Enough about me. How have you been?"

"I've been good," he continued, his pleasant mixed accent getting just a little thicker as he talked, "took me a while to get used to everything, but I really like it here now that I have." William smiled, "everythings a lot different than home, but that's not a bad thing, the differences are good."

"I got a job at a bookstore," his first job to be exact, "it's fun, quiet but I like it." He didn'tlike the idea of relying on hus family's wealth, he wanted to earn his own money.

"My mom's really grown to like the island which is good." He tilted his head a bit, "she uh...asked about you, wants to meet you," his cheeks flushed just a little. "She wants to meet any friends I make," friend, not friends, in truth he seemed to struggle connecting with people at times.
