It was a nice lightly breezy day in the city. The Mountain road was so far her favorite place to ride BRAD, her robotic motorcycle bodyguard/companion. This was just a nice scenic cruise. So she didn't both really changing from her shop wear. A pair of denim overalls, a nice frilly green shirt underneath. Professional wrestling-inspired florescent green boots, and a pair of black Mechanix gloves completed her look. She kept her eyes protected from the wind by a pair of workshop goggles with clear lenses. The gears on the side were simply for decoration. She gave the throttle a quick rev to get it up the short incline and into the fairly flat open curves.
Ever since she moved to this island, she had enjoyed the sights of it. From the Strip to the shoreline, mountain pass to the school itself, everything just looked gorgeous. She hadn't really met any students or citizens here. Most of her time she was either in class "studying" or busy in her workshop making something, such as her new Holographic Personal voice assistant for her and her roommate. She had not come up with a name for him yet, but she was certain her roommate would invaritably find one.
Whipping through the curve, she entered the small pseudo-tunnel and started to go downhill, back towards the city. Perhaps she would stop off for a burger on her way back to the school, there was that new yogurt shop she had heard about. Or she would just snack on some 3D printed bon bons back at her dorm. There were choices. Another great thing about the school.
