Take It Out On Me

Ambrose awoke with sweat shining on his forehead. Another nightmare. Which of course meant another sleepless night. Maybe he should see a psychologist or someone about this...maybe they'd be able to diffuse his mind so he'd be able to actually sleep every night like a normal human being. Tch, normal. He was anything but. Not that it was a bad thing.

Turning over, he would look at the clock. 11 at night. Yeah, bad time to wake up. It was that dangerous hour where, if you had managed to sleep before, there was no going back to sleep, but if you didn't go to sleep then you wouldn't afterwards anyways. Rolling out of his bed, Ambrose would throw on some simple clothes, jeans and a black long sleeve, and run a comb through his hair before exiting his room. He needed to get out of there for the time being. Still, he didn't want to leave the dorms, lest he get tagged for being out after curfew, or something stupid like that. With that in mind, he headed towards the student lounge.

Upon entering, he would see no one there. What else had he expected? Every sane person was asleep right now. Dropping himself in a chair and laying his head back, Ambrose would sigh quietly. He had half a mind to start throwing things, breaking tables, setting this whole damn place in fire, but what would that accomplish? More destruction, more pain? Like he needed that right now... So he settled for quietly pounding on the arms to the chair, wishing he could knock himself out.
