Name: Syrra Izzen
Age: Chronologically 7,000~, physically 17.
Birthday: January 1st
Gender: Female
Species: Izzen
Category: Student
Class: High School
Grade: Remedial

Appearance Description: There are two things in particular that people likely take notice of before anything else when meeting Syrra, those being her imposing height of 7'11", and her light pink, somewhat luminescent skin. This color is complimented by extremely pale pink, almost pure white hair, very voluminous and wavy, and fiery orange-gold eyes with black sclera. This rather exotic ensemble is rounded out by pointed, vaguely elf like ears, sort of vampiric fangs, and a long, fairly muscular, prehensile tail. Her build is slender but still fairly noticeably curvy, and she walks with impeccable posture. In general, she carries herself with quite a bit of grace, very light on her feet despite her size.

When not forced to wear a school uniform, Syrra favors traditional, very breathable clothing, with her midriff almost always exposed; she generally wears a pair of baggy white pants and a simple chest covering, pair of arm garments open at the hands, and footwraps, all of similar material to fabric, but not quite. Though her actual clothing isn't anything particularly elegant, her jewelry is an entirely different story. She has a total of five earrings: two hoops, one stud, and two smaller rings, as well as a platinum cap on her right. She sports a choker, a few bangles, and a belt, all of the same metal similar to gold, and all very intricately engraved. Additionally, she has a series of three thin rings around her tail, alternating from gold, to platinum, and finally diamond.

Personality Description: Something important to consider about Syrra is that the attitude she openly projects and what she genuinely feels are two very, very different things. From her very earliest memories, she was brought up to believe that she was worth, in herself, an immeasurable number of the common people of her world, and was fully expected to conduct herself in a manner that showed this. She had always consistently felt like the outlier in this affair, wanting desperately to be able to show the compassion she felt for those her family ruled, but felt an overwhelming pressure to behave as they did: haughty, self-important, dismissive, and entitled. This is less of an obvious issue now that she's no longer among them, but she still struggles with the expectations of her family, constantly driven into her as they were. Perceptive people would generally be able to recognize that this attitude was a front, a shield to protect against how sensitive she actually is.

As of now, mostly to hold out hope that more of her people will one day join her on earth, she's doing her best to present herself as the princess she was raised to be, but as time goes on, her facade is growing weaker, and little by little more of her true self is shining through. Though she tries desperately to hide it, she really is a fairly sweet, empathetic, and generally mild-mannered person, all of which were considered signs of weakness, and all of which she's naturally terrified to exhibit.

Active Abilities:

Calorie Conversion - Syrra's body stores excess calories as fat at a far faster and more efficient rate than humans, actually visible within minutes. She's able to burn her fat in one large burst, taking about ten seconds, and subsequently turn the energy gained into a very noticeable boost to her physical stats. In this powered up mode, she becomes quite muscular, and is surrounded by a faint purple-grey smoke like aura until it expires. Depending on how much excess fat she converts, her strength, agility, and reflexes can increase at a rate of anywhere from 100% to 500% percent of baseline at her current ability, limited by how much she's able to convert at present. Her boosted form lasts fifteen minutes, regardless of its potency, after which she'll be struck by heavy fatigue directly correlating to the amount of fat converted (a significant compulsion to rest, ranging all the way up to nearly instantly passing out at most) and need to eat quickly to regain her lost calories, or else suffer the intense pain brought on by underfeeding herself. She's only able to use this ability twice per day, no matter how many calories are at her disposal.

Gravity Control - Syrra is able to increase or decrease the force and direction of gravity of either an area, or an individual object or person by up to four times greater, or nullify it completely. She can affect the gravity of three average sized people, two fifteen foot spheres of area, or an amount of objects roughly equivalent to three people at once. If combining for instance affecting an area and individuals at the same time, she can only affect a portion of the amount she could normally, so an area of space and two people. However, controlling her own personal gravity is almost second nature to her, and doesn't contribute to this limit. Syrra has to maintain visual focus on her target for the effect to continue, and the effect immediately ends if the target is beyond fifty feet away from her. Additionally, she can only affect something's gravity in one direction at any given time, but is capable of changing said direction quickly.

Jeskan Whip - Syrra possesses, and is very well trained with, the traditional ritual combat weapon of the royal Izzen caste, a Jeskan whip. This device, while nonmagical, is quite technologically advanced. In its base form, it serves simply but effectively as a long, extremely sharp, and extremely durable whip, able to make cuts in steel or weaker metal with relative ease. With the press of a button on its handle, however, the whip rapidly stiffens into a long sword blade, likely causing massive damage to whatever it has to cut through to do so. It's an exceedingly difficult weapon to use, and very dangerous for any untrained person to use without risking serious injury. The whip also has a smaller secondary button for the purpose of retracting the blade into the handle.

Passive Abilities:

Izzen Physiology - Syrra has several benefits that come with her species on a strictly physical level. She's able to lift 1,500 pounds, as well as run at a top speed of forty miles per hour. She has an expected maximum lifespan of four thousand years, heightened hearing and vision, and doesn't require oxygen. She's fairly sensitive to very loud noises, but not bright light, and is actually able to look directly at the sun with no ill effects. Syrra's tail is fully prehensile and as strong as one of her legs, approximately.

Impact Absorption - Syrra passively reduces and for the most part safely disperses kinetic impacts to her body, the efficiency of which depending on the amount of force. Regular strength punches or kicks are reduced drastically, somewhere in the ballpark of only ten percent efficiency. Small arms bullets would be at at estimated thirty to forty percent efficiency. Getting hit by a car, sixty percent, and so on. Beyond a certain point, impacts are simply too powerful to be reduced; getting hit by a train for instance is far too much force to deal with. Additionally, Syrra can only reduce impacts from a maximum of three simultaneous points of contact. For example, if she were to be hit by two punches and a bullet all at once, they would all be reduced. If those same things hit her at the same time, and a baseball bat came into the equation a split second later, however, she would take the full force of that bat in the time she was still dispersing the other attacks. This time depends on the force of the impact, with a punch taking less than a second and a car for example, five seconds.

Uberstomach - Syrra's stomach contains an incredibly powerful acid in comparison to humans', and can break apart the majority of things that they can't, including most metals and other very durable things. She doesn't receive any nutritional value from these sorts of things, however, and her diet could generally be considered normal. Additionally, her stomach is her one and only digestive organ, with nutrients absorbed directly from it and any waste simply recycled into more acid. Excess acid is diluted and passed through the stomach walls, where she eventually sweats it out. A far cry from how potent it is in use, this acidic sweat simply stings a moderate amount, and isn't capable of doing any appreciable damage.

Regality - Though not mind altering in the traditional sense, anybody that looks at Syrra is able to immediately recognize that she is of royal blood, entirely independent of whether or not they would have any real way of knowing so. She doesn't have to say anything, make eye contact, anything. The person will always know that she's princess, no matter what. This phenomenon has no direct influence over their opinion of her, only communicating this fact and letting them do with it as they will.

Weaknesses:

Metabolic Monster - Syrra burns through energy much, much faster than a human, even while at rest. She becomes hungry quite easily, which is very uncomfortable for her, and on an average day at an average level of activity requires 25,000 calories to be comfortable. If she's underfed by even a relatively minor amount, intense muscular pain takes hold, and subsisting on a subpar diet will quickly emaciate and greatly weaken her. Starvation is a very real concern for her, as not eating for as little as two days can potentially result in death.

Water = Bad - For Syrra, any pure water that's below fifty degrees fahrenheit in temperature causes severe chemical burns on contact with her body, comparable to being splashed with acid, as well as excruciating pain intense enough to cause an instant blackout. The colder this water is, the more painful and the more severe the damage done to her. Pure in this sense refers to any non salt water that doesn't have anything else present in its composition aside from natural minerals. For instance, bottled water would burn her, but kool aid would not.

Weird Fruit - Any kind of citrus fruit has a fast acting and very noticeable effect on Syrra, inducing powerful feelings of euphoria, motivation, and causing an intense desire for physical contact. It's definitely able to be considered on par with a psychoactive drug in terms of potency. Certain types of citrus have varying levels of strength to this effect, with lemons the weakest and oranges the strongest, blood oranges in particular being very intense.

Common Magical Items: Human Shape Charm: While wearing this charm, the character appears human. They lose access to any abilities they had related to their original body. Characters wearing this charm always have a single set human form, which resembles their non-human form.

Simple Language Charm (Izzeni): This is the standard language charm provided to most characters. It translates a characters mother tongue into English, and allows them to hear English as their mother tongue.

Biography: Syrra is the last born child of the Izzen family, the sole ruling party on their planet as well as an empire spanning the grand majority of their solar system. Syrra's planet and those who inhabited it were simply the product of a bored and curious god, interested to see what sort of dynamic might emerge in creating intelligent life with a minute percentage being many, many times more powerful than their peers. The outcome was obvious enough, with those blessed to be granted such incredible gifts banding together from their earliest history to subjugate those they found to be their lessers. In this, the Izzen family formed at the dawn of their planets history, the most elite of the high blooded bonding with one another, and establishing themselves as a force to be listened to out of fear rather than respect. Their name extended to those beneath them as that of their species, a sort of grim reminder of who they were to follow, thinly veiled as a kindness.

By the time Syrra was born, the Izzens had ruled their empire for tens of thousands of years, quelling any rebellions with relative ease, and conquering a multitude of planets around them. Though exceedingly technologically advanced, Ilkh, their home planet, had long ago been stripped of most natural resources, and stood as a monument to the royals' greed and malice, subsisting parasitically off of the labor of the legions of the common folk throughout the empire. Syrra had been opposed to the treatment of the lower caste for as long as she could remember, but was severely reprimanded when she spoke out on these issues throughout her childhood, and eventually forced herself to close her heart to their struggles as best as she could.

The evening of Syrra's seventeenth birthday is one that she remembers only as a blur. Unbeknownst to her or the rest of her people, an equally intelligent and scientifically advanced race had existed beyond their solar system, granted an identical planet, but without a higher caste created, another experiment by the god that had created the Izzen. This lack of a de facto ruling group and the wildly irresponsible abuse of power that the Izzen experienced resulted in a far more balanced structure, which ultimately lead to the downfall of the Izzen when they invaded Ilkh. They swept across the planet like a cleansing fire, sparing the commoners and slaughtering the royals, as they were the only ones willing to and capable of fighting back. Commanded by her father, the Izzen emperor, to flee to one of their other planets, Syrra barely managed to successfully board a one person vessel and escape Ilkh.

Though she eluded the invading force, the ship's navigation sensors were damaged by the debris in Ilkh's atmosphere, and she was sent adrift in one direction, kept in stasis for over seven thousand years. By the time her small craft approached the space station, it was on the verge of breaking apart entirely; it was nothing short of a miracle that it had managed to arrive there at all. Brought onto the station and woken from her millennia of suspension, Syrra was initially extremely apprehensive and not all too cooperative, but over several months was able to integrate to the culture there enough to be acceptable. Never one to particularly like spacefaring, and intrigued by the concept of a planet that was supposedly full of life, Syrra recently finished the suggested courses to transfer to the academy on Earth itself, and intends to enjoy herself at least a small bit, clinging to the slim bit of hope that some of her people will one day come to join her.

Resources: In terms of active income, subsists on the school's allowance for the time being, as she is expected to consider working alongside "peasants" beneath her. Also had a small stash of gemstones and gold scrap scavenged from her nearly broken ship that she exchanged for fifteen thousand dollars and set aside for emergency savings.

Additional Information: Is there anything else to take note of?
