She'd hum in thought. "The club?" she'd ask, "are there many dragons in it?" Her being a Thorndrake had already caused problems when interacting with a few dragons, some got angry and assumed they were lying about their name.

The half dragon would eye the second sword curiously. "I've heard dual wielding swords is quite difficult," she'd block the first strike, jumping back just out of teach fromnthe second.

Arno would immediately go on the offensive. Moving forward, slashing and the going for a job, trying to get between the twin blades.

"I've learned that lots of dragons like to fight so yeah, there are a few. Some easier to spar with than others." She shrugged in reply and then focused on the incoming strikes.

"It can be," she began as she backstepped just in time to ready herself for the incoming slash. Parrying it up and away with one blade she let out a short grunt of exertion as she brought the second sword up beneath the jabbing blade, then followed that with a spin and strike with the first blade to physically push Arno's sword and by extension their sword arm away from her.

"As long as you don't get tripped up with arms crossed or anything."

Arno was already struggling some with the duo blades, she'd try to push the advanced but Seyyal was skilled. Arno's sword arm was pushed away and so she'd jump back, her eyes reexamining her opponent.

"It shows you're not just skilled...but also gifted," she'd tilt her head, "being able to wield two swords shows this." The half dragon was enjoying this, it was a good test, and she was liking her new friend.

She'd move back in, slashing out with her sword, but just as the blow would land she'd drop her sword. The weapon would reappear in her other hand which slash from the right.

Seyyal didn't feel particularly gifted. But that was that was the extra sense of hers talking- she knew others had actual gifts. Then again? It's not like she could really recall much training from before the Lionesses. It was kind of a blur she she put out of mind to focus back on the sparring.

Just in time too, because Arno was pulling a quick sneaky trick with swapping sword hands. Which would have almost certainly struck her harder had she not been quite familiar with the concept herself.

Still, one sword had come up to deflect the feint and she had to suddenly redirect her retaliating thrust with her other arm into an attempt to lessen the blow.

Arno's sword bit some into the softer leathery part of Seyyal's arm, hard, and she grunted with the impact.

In return, Seyyal lowered her shoulder and lunged forward into a tackle before Arno could prepare another slash and maybe get lucky.

She hadn't been expecting the tackle, and so it'd hit her full one. The half dragon would go down with a grunt, losing her grip on her sword the weapon would fall to the floor with a clang.

Arno would squirm as her opponent pinned her, trying to fight out of the hold to keep success. She'd look to Seyyal, blushing a tiny bit when she realized how close they were, but she'd giggle.

"Guess you win," she could have summoned her weapon, but she felt that Seyyal had won this time. "You did well," she'd say with a chuckle.

While she wasn't familiar with American football, her tackle was almost textbook. Between the element of surprise, her practiced strength and a good bit of luck she managed to knock her opponent down.

Once down on the ground it was a pretty short matter. She'd pinned a dragon. Excellent!. She wasn't blushing or anything like that though.

After giving it a moment to show how pinned her opponent was, Seyyal hopped back up to her feet and offered her a hand up. "You did pretty good too. Just means next time will be even more exciting."

She'd accept her hand, smiling. "Thank you," she'd brush some hair from her face, accidentally giving Seyyal a look at the scar her hair usually hid. "That tackle surprised me," she'd say with a giggle, "if my uncle saw how that took me by surprise he'd be lecturing me, maybe poking at me with his staff."

Her sword would vanish from the ground. "You're an excellent sparring partner," she'd say with a small grin. "I hadn't sparred with anyone besides my parents in a while I enjoyed it."

The half dragon's stomach would growl and she'd giggle. "Guess I worked up my appetite," she'd say, blushing a tiny bit. "Are you hungry? Would you like to get something to eat?"

Seyyal helped her to her feet and then made sure her own swords were cast back to the sands from whence they came. It wasn't the cleanest way to disarm one's self but it worked.

"We'll have to do more sparring. That way nobody blindsides you with a tackle or anything again," she laughed and considered the time.

"I guess I could get something to eat, yeah. Know anywhere in particular or just the school cafeteria?"

She'd smile. "I'm always up for sparring," she'd chuckle. "Yes, don't want to get tackled to often," luckily she was sparring with a new friend, her cousins wouldn't have been so kind.

The half dragon would hum in thought. "There's a diner near the school I've been meaning to try," she'd suggest, tilting her head. "I'm always picking up tasty scents when I walk past it," she'd chuckle.

"So, dinner, my treat," she'd say with a smile. "You did win afterall," she'd say with a giggle, "plus I want to thank you for the spar."

"I've learned never to argue against a free meal, so you're on!" She laughed and stepped off to the side to squeeze some of the water out if her water bottle into her mouth. Weird material, plastic. It took so long to swap out her usual waterskin or canteen but cleaning was way easier for sure.

"Really don't have to thank me for the sparring though- it was good for both of us. Besides, I did half cover you in sand by accident."
