Emily walked outside. The sun shone all around her. Diving smoothly into the lake, Emily rejoiced that she could finally swim again. Cutting through the water with strong, smooth, strokes, she wondered if anyone would talk to her.
Caitlin had been under the water for an hour now. She had a huge lung capacity and could have stayed under for 3 more hours. But she decided to pop up for a breath. She saw two people swimming and talking. She swam over and said hello. "Hi, I'm Caitlin."
"oh" surprised emily continued talking "how are you?" "I did not notice that you were down under the water". "my name is Emily" thinking that that was enough to say. But inside her she wanted someone else to start a saying something to continue the conversation.
