(Before anyone reads farther, this is a thread for pure evilness and character torture, if you have a sensitive heart, don't read. This will contain violence, wounds, etc and lots and lots of blood.)

The wind was howling through the trees of the forest, low black clouds hanging in the skies, every few minutes a crash of thunder and the light of lightning could be seen above the earth. Rain poured as if it wanted to drown the forest below, no animal was out in this storm. Only foolish people would be out at this point, but one was. Well, he had been there for a long time so it didn't count.

He had simply taken a stroll in the forest and well, lets say it had turned bad. The brown haired man had his hair plastered on his skin, the hotness of it could be felt even in the cold rain. His eyes were looking up at the sky, grey eyes resized in wonderment. He seemed to have forgotten his predicament for the time being as he observed the anger of nature above him.

He was stuck in a potentially deathly situation, what situation might you ask? He was stuck under a fallen tree. It had fallen across his midsection and legs, leaving one broken as well as several ribs shattered. There was a trickle of blood falling to the side of his mouth from where he had bitten the inside of his cheek from keeping any scream inside. He didn't want to get the attention of nonfriendly creatures towards himself.

It was a good thing there had been some rocks to keep him from being completely crushed or he would have been dead. One arm was next to him, hand level to his ears the other was flung aside, hand facing up. His clothing was dirty from the soaking mud and there was some blood on it where the bone of his leg was jutting out. He had worn a raincoat just in case and he was glad for it, it kept him in some measure of warmth.

One branch was pinning him to the ground through his shoulder and he was effectively unmoving. He was pale, but his cheeks were unaturally flushed. He hoped that if he was found it would be by someone who would not eat him. He had trouble breathing and it came out in ragged gasps. He could feel the bones of his ribs grinding into each other in waves of pain each time he moved to breath.

He felt way too hot and dizzy as hell and he could feel the burning of his open wounds, this was just great, now he had an infection and fever to top it all. Lets just say his situation was not pleasant.

Vanessa Elizabeth Kensington Lancaster was not in a good mood. Her normally bouncy curls were limp and dripping rain. Her bright blue eyes had turned dark and stormy with annoyance. She had scratches from tree branches on her cheeks. Her sheath, knee length pink dress was soaking wet, and provided no warmth from the rain. And her designer sandals were caked with mud.

She stomped along, muttering quietly to herself. "Stupid rain. Of course it decides to rain when I get lost. Of course I decide to go for a walk on the day when I am wearing my brand newest dress from momsie and popsical. Of course the rain ruins said brand newest dress. I am never, ever leaving the school building again." She ranted.

She continued stomping in the direction that she thought the school was in, staring straight ahead with stormy blue eyes. Her foot caught on something and she fell, causing the front of her dress and hands to get all muddy.

She was about to scream in frustration when she saw him. Then she did scream. A rather shrill, freaked-out scream.

James had fallen in a light doze, eyes closed to keep away from the pain, not that it worked anyway. Yes... He suffered... (bwahahahaha... -cough-) Anyways, he was in a fiery hell of pain where nothing or nearly nothing made sense. He could hear around himself in a distand way, but the girl's shriek certainly gathered his attention. He jerked slightly and winced at the loud sound. He would have told it to shut up had it not been a young woman's voice. Since whoever it was was female and young, he just couldn't do that. He tried to turn and get a look at who exactly was there but he was kind of pinned at the moment. He managed to get a glimpse of a dirtied good quality dress. A young rich girl then.

''Excuse me...?'' He managed to croak out. ''You wouldn't happen to have a cell phone or any communicating device by any chance?''

He figured that if she had a cell phone or something he could be rescued and healed easier. These types of things allways happened to him no matter how hard he tried to have a normal day.

Vannie knelt next to him and studied him, a little disoriented. "Cell phone?...oh, yes, I should..." She glanced around, looking for her purse, but she stopped and looked back at him. "No, my bag is with Nanny." She said with a sigh. "But I can go back to the school and get help....no....I'd better stay here with you...but...." She took a deep breath and shook her head to clear her thoughts.

"I'll try to move the log thingy, and then if I can, I'll go get help..." She told him as calmly as she could, though her voice shook.

He looked up to the young woman, eyes half glazed over but you could still see some amount of consciousness in them. He was still awake, although he could have been unconscious or worse. He could very well have been and he would not have changed much. He frowned when she told that she had left her wallet and things at home. He never left his cards wherever he went, just in case.

''If you go into the forest, you will only get more lost than you are now.'' He said. ''and do try to keep your voice down, not all ears are friendly in this forest.''

The rain continued to pour down buckets on them, creating a puddle around them. They were not simply in a puddle, but now it amounted to a very small lake. The storm was still going and would not cease for a long while.

''Its rather, heavy, I doubt you can lift that, I'd know.'' He continued. ''You look a little too small to be able to do such a feat. It's stuck in me anyway.''

Well, he was pinned under it by all meanin gs of the term. Rooted to the spot, still as a statue, well, you get the idea. The thing is, that tree was bloody huge.

Vannie glanced around at his warning. That was slightly disturbing. She looked back at him. "What do you mean?" She whispered in a barely audible voice. "Am I going to get attacked or something?"

[OoC: should she get attacked? xD IC:]

She peered at the log. "I may be tiny, but I'm not...okay, I am weak. But whatever. You don't want me to help, I won't help." She said poutily. "I'll just sit here and stare at you." Her voice was back to a near-shriek. He didn't want her to go for help, he didn't want her to try and move the log...what else was she supposed to do?
