images (11).jpegThe lilac festival had finished. Stefan was hanging around enjoying the last bit of sights that remained and letting the crowd die out a bit so he didn't have to fight the crowd.

Stefan had been on stage earlier in the evening and a few people still complimented him as they passed and recognized him. The mirrored aviators and blonde hair being a dead giveaway for who he was. Stefan was happy with his performance, especially being his first time on stage.

He had performed several times in the streets. Mainly with stories however. He had just realized he can make more singing while using his ability as well. The idea to sign up for the festival was a spontaneous one but had worked out for him.

Shiloh was pretty much exhausted after they got done with their performance. Shiloh put all their energy in practicing and getting things ready for their performance which clearly paid off. As much as they wanted to relax and chill out for a bit, they still had a bit more work to do.

The Lilac Festival was a perfect place to scout out new talent. While there were a lot of other good singers that had perform during the festival, Shiloh was more interested in Stefan Jogstad, a name that was mentioned to them by Kon. After getting dressed in a new set a pajamas, Shiloh wondered around the festival in search of Stefan.

The feeling in the atmosphere was one of people coming down off of a high. Just the feel was exhausting, and with most people have spent multiple days at the festival, it was understandable.

Icy blue eyes continued to scan the dwindling crowd, taking the opportunity to people watch. Manta Carlos was so diverse that you could take days just watching people. His eyes then fell upon Shiloh walking through the crowd seemingly looking for something. They had just finished closing out the festival and did a fantastic job.

Stefan hoped to his feet and made his way towards them with his signature lopsided grin on his face.

"Sorry to bother you, just wanted to say you did an amazing job. I really loved the show."

It didn't take too long for Shiloh to find Stefan; finding him within the crowd was also made easier thanks to him actually approaching them first. Shiloh definitely look tired and ready for bed but they still had the energy to keep up a friendly attitude. "Hey! Thanks man."

Shiloh a b s o l u t e l y enjoyed getting all this praise for their performance tonight. There was even other folk coming up to them asking for autographs and pictures. "Oh hold on for one second." They held up a finger to Stefan as they pulled out their phone to send a text. After a little bit of waiting, two men and a woman in suits appeared to block anyone from getting too close to them. "You're Stefan Jogstad, right? I've been looking foreeever for you man."

Looking around as three people, presumably body guards, ushered people away giving them a clear circle, Stefan was surprised he wasn't one ushered back. He was even more surprised when Shiloh tossed his name out.

"Uh, yea. That's me."

Stefan lingered a moment on how they would know his name. Then it dawned on him that Kon might have actually pushed his name up to them. He'd have to thank his neighbor later.

"What can I do for you?"

Stefan's voice was genuine and cheerful. Being in the presence of someone of celebrity level wasn't going to change who Stefan was or how he acted. After all, celebrities were people too.

Shiloh smiled as they were clearly enjoying all of this. "It's not exactly what you can do for me, it's what I can do for you."

Shiloh slowly started circling Stefan as they continued to talk. "I'm sure you have heard about Wonderville Records already, it is my music company."
They would be a bit surprised if he haven't heard of their record company yet. Shiloh has definitely done and got a few other people to advertise it during the music festival.

"As a fellow artist, celebrity singer, and CEO of Wonderville Records I would like to get to know you and maybe conduct an interview." They stopped circling Stefan and once again was standing in front of them. "So, do you want to do this here in front of a crowd of people or do you want to find somewhere more private?"

Stefan's icy blue eyes tracked Shiloh as they began to circle around him. His head quickly swinging from one side to the other as they went out of view behind him. He made sure to listen to all of their words carefully. After all, he didn't wanna screw this up.

"Yea I have. Konpeitō, my neighbor, told me about you and your business. Said I should check it out."

He spoke plainly. It wasn't anything fancy, and to Shiloh was more than likely not a surprise he had heard about them. Would have been more of a shock if he hadn't. Stefan shrugged a little nonchalantly at the question. He really didn't have a preference. When he spoke next his voice was cheerful, with a slight hint of excitement.

"We can do it here if you'd like. Crowds never bothered me. But if you are wanting to go somewhere else, I'd happily follow."

"Well you better make sure to thank Kon later. I probably wouldn't have payed as much attention to your performance if he didn't mention your name. I have a busy schedule afterall."

Shiloh subtly nodded with approval that he didn't mind crowds. That was something that they definitely had to look for in singers and artists. You can't be a good performer if you can't deal with a crowd.
"That's good to hear that crowds don't bother you. Kinda hard to be a big name singer if you don't do well with crowds, good and bad. Plus crowds are basically everything when performing. A dead crowd is a dead performance."

Shiloh leaned up against a sign post, definitely posing for the folks still snapping picks from the crowd. "Alright so Stefan. Tell me about yourself, why you are so passionate about music and why you think you will make a great edition to Wonderville Records."

Stefan listened to their every word carefully. Taking in any little piece of advice of knowledge they might drop, as well as making sure he didn't misconstrue anything they asked of him.

"Well stories have been a part of my family's heritage since long before I was born. Stories passed down always spoke on certain subjects or life lessons. Yet they always spoke to each person differently. What one story meant to one person may be totally different to someone else, but cause the same deep emotional affect."

His response came quick and unfiltered. He had never really thought about the question before so everything was coming naturally to the blue eyed demi-god.

"Music is very much the same if not to an even deeper level as it can be shared by large groups of people. It can bring people together for a common cause such as a horn of battle, or it can be shared intimately between just two people sharing a dance together. It's beautiful."

His mother would be proud. His passion was coming out the more he spoke. A single hand came up and ruffled the back of his shaggy blonde hair a little as his lopsided grin came forward.

"As to why I'd make a good fit, I know I can sing. I got my mom to thank for that. But being who my mom is, I inherited her passion. And passionate people but their everything into what they do. And you should expect no less than anyone you bring on."

Shiloh listened to what Stefan's response was to their questions carefully. They were getting an understanding on Stefan's passion for music and why he believed he would fit in the record label. Shiloh was definitely vibin' with the things Stefan was saying. They agreed with what Stefan said about music and how it can basically connect people together. They did just used their music to welcome an entire kingdom to the island afterall. "You're right, music is beautiful."

Shiloh continued to be all smug like when they talk. They were definitely pushing the whole "I'm the expert here." persona up. "It's clear you are a great singer and it obvious you are very passionate about music. So, you pass. Well you pass the interview part."
Shiloh gave Stefan a golf clap, was it petty? It's probably hard to tell right now.
"But don't get it twisted. Just because you passed the interview doesn't mean you are getting signed right away."

Shiloh folded their arms and glanced over to the crowd of folk being held off by their bodyguards. "I need you to write and perform a new song. I'm sure doing a cover song will definitely get you likes on YouTube and get you a pass on American Idol but honey, this ain't YouTube or some reality TV show. This is Manta Carlos. An island filled with people who can magically make good music with ease."

Shiloh rolled their eyes after saying that last part. "I'm going to need you to impress not only me but also this crowd here and many others. If you can do that with your own song then you will get signed and we can get you setup in a recording studio and set you up with a music video."

Shiloh smirked just a bit as they tilted their head. "Is that too hard? I could also give you a deadline too but I prefer not to rush perfection."
