Alexandria usually sat alone anyways during lunch. She excluded a colder air then almost anyone else, being as she is colder then almost anyone anyways. So when anyone sat by her, they chilled easier and it made people uncomfortable. Probably another reason why she didn't have a roommate, she kept her room colder then a lot of people liked. "Yeah that's fine, you can join me tomorrow. I sit kind of near the back of the lunch room, away from the popular or loud students anyways."

She shakes her head some at his words of bringing food. "No its ok. Eating the school food is just fine, besides we are eating out today." Now she shrugs lightly. "I just draw for fun usually or when I'm bored."

Alexandria watches as his tail brings out his sketch book and when its handed over to her, she slowly reaches out to grab it with her gloved hand. "You don't have to show me if you don't want too. I know some people see it as a journal or something like that." Shes holding onto it but she hasn't opened it, wanting to be sure she can look. Even if he did hand it over.

"I don't show my art all that often," he gave her a smile, "but uh...I'm trying to, thought maybe people looking at my art would help me open up a bit more." He struggled with social situations, he was shy and suffered from anxiety, he was trying to do better, he'd even managed to make a few friends.

He gave his new friend a small smile, his art was good, very good, his sketchbook showed that he was talented. "I...," he'd shrug a little, "don't really remember why I started drawing, but I like it." It was his escape from real life, his way of dealing with things.

"You uh...can keep a few if you'd like," despite not often showing people, he still liked the idea of giving them to people, letting them have the ones they liked.

"That might work." She wouldn't know herself since she doesn't really ever show anyone, barely even her parents. She might show something that she is very proud of drawing, something that didn't really mean anything to her. Like something she just wanted to draw for fun. If it was something that meant something to her, she keeps to herself in a different book. "I wouldn't know myself, sorry."

Now she opens the book and looks through it slowly, but yet not overly slow like she is studying everything in detail and all that. Glances up at him with a small smile. "You don't have to have a reason to start something. You could just start it because you wanted to." Goes back to leafing through it before looking at him again when shes done. "I'll let you keep these but one day I might just have you draw something for me." Offers him his book back. "You're good by the way."

"Thank you," he'd say, giving her a smile as she handed the book back, "I think...you're the first person I've shown it to, besides a few drawings here and there, never shown someone my sketchbook before." She was nice and he felt calm around her, he couldn't say that about most people, his anxiety was still there but it was manageable.

The waitress returned with their food, setting their plates down on the table, "I haven't really been out with a friend in a long time...if ever really." His old school hadn't been pleasant, he'd been bullied badly, he was still bullied here, but to a somewhat lesser extent for now. "Thank you," he said with a smile.

He'd look at his sketch book, "later on, I'll draw something for you," his tail sways slowly at his side, he was enjoying this, it was nice, having lunch with a new friend.

Alexandria thanks the server when they bring them their food. She was starving, having forgotten to eat her breakfast before school that day. Sleeping through the first alarm is something she does sometimes, though not often.

"I don't go out with friends for food much either. Most of the time its just lunch at the school or sometimes doing school work." She says before digging into her food. It smelled way to good and the warmth that was coming from it was something she liked. Sure shes a cold person, but that doesn't mean she doesn't enjoy her warm food. Smiles at him when he says he would draw something for her later on. "Thanks."

Kurt started in on his food, a smile on his face, his tail swaying behind him. Today had held unexpected events, lunch with a new friend seemed like such a simple and common thing, yet the half demon appreciated it greatly, for it was one of many things he rarely got to have. So for today, he'd forget about his problems, and enjoy the day with his friend.
