"Whoa! That... kinda awesome! You look so... scrawny that I didn't strike me as the kind of person who was capable of bringing down a building." Remarks Nyota, who seemed to have approved of James surprisingly destructive abilities.
"Hrmm? How did I get up here? Err... I used the door... like a normal person."
Nyota then looked over to the nearby roof access, looking somewhat puzzeled. Nyota pondered as to why James wanted to know that when she realized that wasn't the question he meant. She snapped her head back to face James with a malicious looking grin on her face.
"Oh! You wanted to how I ended up HERE. At the academy. Hee... well~ I ate a god."
Nyota allowed a moment for James to absorb that information, the air between the two grew somewhat stagnate before the gentle breeze returned.
"Of course... I had no idea that I ate the body of a perished sun god at the time. When my crazy grandmother showed me the little black pearl that apparently brought good fortune... I was so out of it from the drugs the doctors had prescribed for me that I thought she was trying to give me some Chinese medicine again or something. So I popped the lil black orb into my mouth and swallowed it whole. After a few days of feeling better, the powers and memories of the ancient sun god manifested. I... kinda went a bit wacko and attempted to incinerate the entire world. Didn't get very far though..."
Nyota then shrugged, she barely remembered the entire ordeal. Thoughts of revenge against humanity were so overwhelming that it was all just a hazy flash of light, fire, and smoke. Honestly her little rampage was more of public nuisance in her opinion. Especially compared to James who was standing right in front of her.
"A lot of people were hurt and I think I may have burned down a building but as far as I know, no one died from that little incident. Anyway, when I came to... I woke up on Juvie Island. Spend the next two years in rehab and now they finally saw me first to go back to school. And now... I am talking to you."
Nyota frowned a bit, it just occurred to her that she had an entire conversation with a fellow student that didn't end in either them cowering away or ending in a brawl. Guess those anger managements sessions really did do something.
