Amber suspected that it was somehow magical and her mom's comment all but confirmed that suspicion. It sounded sort of like a magical tracking device. While she was sure there were many daughters whom might have freaked out over such a thing but Amber honestly felt a reassured. Not like she was going off being sneaky behind her mother's back and such think would be helpful if someone were to like... kidnap her again.
"Ah, thanks mom! I promise to keep it on me so that you know when I am safe." reassured Amber as she places the necklace on her neck.
As her new necklace settled atop her collar bone her mom then brought up the tricky subject of Remiel. She knew her was concerned and rightly so considering the angel's views on demonkind. Suddenly the whole necklace thing made more sense now.
"I know you worry which why I wanted to talk to you about. I mean... sure he has misplaced view on demons but I don't think that makes him inherently bad. Just... I think he just needs to be exposed to someone like me that breaks his whole ideology of demons being inherently evil and conniving. Right now he just doesn't know any better. But... I know that he knows that he can't really do anything to me because if he did... then that will attract all the more scrutiny onto him. And if something does happen..."

"....I know that you won't be far away."
