"It sounds like you two of you have the daughter father thing figured out," Zoraida said with a warm smile. It was always nice to see or hear about people who made their own families. Blood in her mind meant very little, her own family, with the purest bloodlines and close-knitness meant zero at times. Her own brother despised her and her parents, and her parents had basically washed their hands of Tomas, and of herself as soon as she had become ill many years ago... to them it was weakness in the bloodline and they believed she was more a liability than anything... and due to this, Zora had done something unspeakable that had, in the end, made her immortal.
"I don't think having parents means you know how to be a good parent." she stated truthfully. "I think being caring is the key."
"She?" Zoraida said as she looked at Altizica quizzically, "The crystal isn't alive is it?" she asked as a slow realization and implication of what might happen if Tomas tried to bind a soul to another soul.
