Axel walked into the cafeteria looking for the line. He looked at both lines scanning them for length. After he decided that the left one was shorter he jumped in it. After about 10 minutes of waiting he ordered the meal with the most meat. (He's almost carnivorous...) He sat at a table next to a couple of people and began eating.

Ember stood by the line, holding her tray with her lunch, trying to find a decent place to sit. The majority of the tables were packed with people and there were only a few completely empty. She didn't want to sit alone. She saw a table that wasn't completely full, only a few students were eating there. She made her way towards the table and took a seat in front of a guy who, form the look of his meal, enjoyed meat. "Hi." She said sitting down and taking a bite of her own slab of meat.
Ember gave a giggle when the boy took a rather large peice of meat and began chewing. His name was Axel. "I'm Ember." She said, swallowing her piece before answering.
"So, I'm guessing you like your meat, huh?" It was a small attempt for some sort of small talk, and she hoped it worked.

"Hm?" He raised an eyebrow before looking at his plate. "Let's see....porkchops drowned in gravy, red hot buffalo wings, steak, hotdogs, and catfish." He laughed "Haha...I guess you could say that..." He took another bite and swallowed then asked "So Ember, how long have ya been here? I just blew in myself."
Ember laughed as Axel named each meat he had on his plate. "I love meat too...but not that much." She said with a smile, looking donw at her own plate. All she had on was a medium sized slab of steak with a large amount of barbeque sauce and mashed potatoes with gravy. "I've been here for a while now.." So, Axel was new, huh? "How do you like it here so far?"
Ember nodded in agreement. Her first day was a little similar, but still different. She laughed, yet again, when Axel scarffed down the remainder of his hot dogs.
It didn't take long for Ember to answer that question "I'd have to say the roof. I've been up there so many times, i just love it. Hey you want to go someplace afterwards? I could show you around someplace that might spike your interest. I've been practically everywhere around this school."

Ember took the final piece of her steak, quite a big piece, and stuffed it down her throat. Not very ladylike. She drank the last of her orange juice, cleaned up and said, "Well it depends, is there any place that's striked your interest but you haven't gone yet?"
