"That....sounds amazing actually," he'd say with a snicker. "Just all our old notebooks and stuff, pile it up and burn them down," that sounded really fun actually, and very therapeutic.

He'd think a moment. "Well.....maybe we can do our own little bonfire?" he'd suggest. "Maybe not here, but the forest is big, we could even get tents and make a camping trip out of it too." It'd been a long time since he'd been camping.

Pulling out a piece of paper he'd light it on fire, letting it burn up to his fingers, not even minding the potential burns. "I remember back home me and my family used to do that yearly, a camping trip with a bonfire."

She grinned wider, giving him a thumbs up. "Let's set the date, then! For, uh, whenever we're done with school." She said. That all sounded really fun. Going out camping would be a fun way to see more of the island, as well as actually doing something for herself for once.
She looked over to the wall again, shooting off a few quick lightning bolts before looking back to Rowan. "Yeah, I wanna do that."

He'd grin. "I think there's at least a break from school next month, we could do some then," he'd fling a couple more fire balls at the wall. "The school technically runs year round, so we get breaks every few months."

Picking up the thermos he'd take sip of the hot chocolate. "We could see if any of our friends wanna come if you want?" which he wasn't sure if his friends would want to go.

Rowan is look at her a moment. "Hey.....thanks for not saying anything about my..my burns and all that," he'd say with a grateful. "You've...been one of the nicest, sweetest persons I've ever met."

"I wanna do it in the Summer, though." She said. She didn't know a lot of human cultural things, but she had seen it in enough shows to get it. She had seen all the scenes of friends around a bonfire, everyone happy, everyone laughing. She wanted that. She had left Hell for that. For friends.
"I think seeing if more people wanna come would be great." Was all she actually said, though. She didn't want to come on too strong. She smiled at that part as well.
"Oh, thank you! You've been really nice to me, too!" She said with a smile. He was, so far, the only one of her friends who hadn't seemed wary of her some way when they first met.

"A summer party for us and our friends does sound nice," he'd smile a bit. "Maybe everyone can bring food, we can have a feast by the bonfire," he'd form another fireball, letting it float better his hands a bit.

"Have I been?" he'd ask, tilting his head. "I....I honestly thought I was being an ass.the first time we met," he'd say with a snort. "A grumpy bandaged ass," he'd say with a tiny laugh, letting the fire fall to the ground.

"You....I don't know....you talking me it...it helped cheer me up," he'd say with a smile. "Plus the whole....fire thing doesn't scare you...so you're just....really easy and nice fo to hang out with."

"Well, you didn't seem scared of me either." She said, her mind going back to the time that she tried to show another part of herself and ended up terrifying people. She was sure that she thought he was nice to her when they first met.
"And you never made fun of how I dress, or how I talk, or my laugh." She continued, offering him a smile as she just sort of watched him work with his fire. "It was definitely nice."
She was also still worried about how there could still be others trying to get ahold of him, but it wasn't too relevant to the moment.

"Scared?" he'd ask, tilting his head, "but you're so nice, I don't think I could ever be scared." He'd smile.

"I like your laugh," he'd say with a smile, "and the way you dress is cool and unique." He'd glance down at himself. "I dress so blandly," he'd say with a laugh, "my clothes are boring." He was used to just dressing plainly to work in a field.

He'd fling a few tiny fireballs in quite succession. "And....you just...y'know...you don't try to hide yourself, hide who you are, you're honest, and I think that's so cool."

She tried not to cringe at that last part. She was hiding herself. She hadn't transformed into her serpent form since that day. Hell, she had been over using her imp form just because people seemed to like it more. She... decided just to address something else.
"I think the way you dress is cool." She said, her voice genuine. It was so simple, nobody where she was from would ever dress like that.

He'd chuckle. "Thanks...I've always dressed like this, sometimes I consider changing it up," he had no idea how he'd change it though. "Maybe I need more color," he'd say with a tiny snicker.

Rowan would form another flame, focusing he'd try to form it into various shapes, to mixed results. "So you're friends with Rhett?" he'd ask curiously. "We grew up together, be was part of the group of friends I told you about."

"Have you met any of the others?" he'd ask, kinda curious about what the others might think of her.

She... yes, she had met at least one- or, two? others when she first met Rhett. She was starting to understand why things had happened the way they did.
Stupid, it was a stupid decision.
She nodded, putting on a smile again. "Yeah! We met at the community center and started talking about, uh... wizards." She cackled a little bit at that, remembering how weird it had been. "I also met, uh, I think their names were Avram and Avigail? That was... just the one time, though."
