7:00 on a Monday...the beginning of the work/school week in most places.

Sean McCalister, a second year college student, was waiting in line at a local coffee shop. This was the one day of the week that he hated most, given that he had to shake off the laziness from the weekend. Upon reaching the front of the line, he paid for his coffee. It was a caramel mocha, it was a cold, blended coffee, and he had a triple shot of espresso in it. As he walked outside, he happened to leave his wallet at the counter. Failing to notice this, he sat at a table near the coffee shop, drinking his coffee while playing a few notes on his harmonica. He also had some medical books with him, that he perused while performing the aforementioned task.

Aylin groaned as she slipped around the corner leading up to the coffee shop. It felt like the morning had come way to early today. She had just finished off her shift at Temptations an hour ago, A job that kept her busy from start to finish. Last night she had had two clients of her own. The first had been an older business man with the ability to create fire. He had dazzled her in lobby, but finished far to quick in bed. The other was a middle aged man whom she was certain had cashed in his life savings to be with her. The rest of the night had been spent entertaining guests in the main lobby. flirting and being social, making the clientele feel welcome.

Her one truly lucky feature was her ability to handle liquor. Given her enormous size, her body had become incredibly efficient with filtering out toxins such as alcohol, so despite sharing many drinks she was in no way negatively affected. Still though, she had a long day ahead of her now, and that would require a little boost so to speak. In this case. Coffee.

The coffee shop that she was stopping at was on her way to school. It was a smaller place, quaint and simple. The owners had come to know Aylin rather well, and her order was often ready as she arrived. Today was one of those days. Given the lack of room, she placed her bag and cello case by the door of the coffee stop as she slipped in quickly. She was so long that she didn't actually manage to get all of her body inside before she reached the counter. Her order, a large black coffee, 3 hours old, with several shots of espresso was perched on the counter, next to a wallet. She eyed the wallet for a moment before picking it up. There was some money left in it but that wasn't her concern. Instead she went looking for ID and quickly spotted a student ID from the university.

"Sean Mcalister." She read out loud as she picked up her coffee in her free hand and turned around. She recognized the picture on the front as one harmonica playing fellow she had met recently. Strangely enough as she exited the shop with wallet and coffee in hand she caught sight of it's owner sitting at a nearby table. A smile crossed her lips as she slithered over to him. "Ya know. There are other ways to get my attention. Though extra points for creativity." She teased as she handed the wallet to him.

"Huh?" Sean looked up as he heard a familiar voice. "Oh, Ms. Arore. I wasn't attempting to gain your attention....not that I don't find your attractive, I mean, I'd be crazy not to..." at this point, Sean noticed the cello case near the door. "Oh, you play an instrument as well? I never would have known bad I not misplaced my wallet. Thank you for returning it."

At this point, it was more than Sean's hair that was red, nearly his entire face bad turned as red as a rose from the nervousness of being in such close proximity to a woman that he found himself attracted to.

Sean had turned a shade of red that rivaled his hair while he stammered nervously. This caused Aylin to giggle. "Relax it's ok. I'm teasing you." She said still grinning. "Yes I do. I'm a cellist. It's actually what I study at the college." She knew music was a thing for Sean, as their first meeting he had been playing some lovely melodies on his harmonica. She had actually thought him to be a travelling musician during their first meeting, though it made more sense that he was in fact a student. Though now she wondered what he was doing lounging around when classes were supposed to start in just under an hour.

"Well Sean. Why Don't you walk with me to class. It looks like we are both destined for the college today." As she spoke she moved over to where her cello case had been positioned, and with the help of her tail was able to hoist it onto her back, making use of the shoulder straps on the bag. Her books were in a simple shoulder bag which she tossed casually over her shoulder as she turned to look back at him. "After all. You wouldn't want to be late."

Aylin was dressed rather casually for the morning of classes. A simple denim skirt, and a grey pullover hoody with the sleeves pulled up was all she really needed for now.

Picking up his books in one hand, and his coffee in the other, Sean quickly followed after. His harmonica was tucked safely away in his pocket.

"So, Ms. Arore, if you're taking music classes, then it's possible that we might have some of them together."

He was still waking up as he walked with her. This was the first time that anyone had asked him to walk to school with them, and he was in a bit of a daze from the idea.

"I was thinking that since we both play musical instruments, perhaps we could work on a song together?"

It wasn't the most creative way of asking someone out, but it was the only way he could think of at the time.

"That is, if you're wouldn't mind."

Aylin had written many pieces for her cello. All of them had been assignments meant to be solo works though. Up until now she had only ever thought about writing music that involved other string instruments, and never even imagined what it would sound like playing with a harmonica. But it was something fun that could be done, after all what was a cello if not just an over sized bass guitar. Though before they could collaborate on any music one important rule needed to be established.

"Please, Call me Aylin. The only people who call me Miss Arore are... Well My clients." She hadn't expected it to sound quite so brash when she had heard it in her own mind, but actually saying it out loud made it feel a little funny. "Were friends Sean. You can call me Aylin." She said sticking out her forked tongue in a teasing manner. She took a quick sip of her coffee, enjoying it's strong flavor before speaking again.

"I'm always down for a jam session. Anytime you want we can sit out and play some music together." Having people around who were musicians was always fun, especially if they could play randomly on a whim. Some of the best melodies were written on a whim.

"Ah, terribly sorry about that ms.....I mean, Aylin. It's not intentional, just the way I was raised. Still, I'm glad that you consider me a friend."

He couldn't believe that he had successfully asked her out. This was something that he would never have thought possible. He didn't really even pay much attention to the mention of clients, thinking that she must be some sort of officers worker.

"Well, the coffee shop sometimes allows local artists to perform. Or, we could set up at the beach. Would today work, after classes let out?"

He wasn't quite sure how she would respond to either idea, but he hoped she would respond well to one of them.

She giggled again. He certainly was an eager fellow. In truth she would have loved to have gone out today after classes, but she needed to get some rest because she did have a shift at midnight. Her days off were not for a couple more days. In truth his beach Idea sounded great, but she would never go through the trouble of taking her cello out to one. Lord only knows how awful the sand would be for such an instrument. Maybe though a relaxing trip to the beach would be just fun on it's own.

"Well I work the next couple of days. Then I've got a thing to do. But after that we could just go out to the beach if you like. I mean I really wouldn't mind catching some sun, and stretching out on the warm sand." The idea was so appealing that she had already thought of what kind of swimsuit she could wear on such an outing.

"Sounds great, what time should I pick you up?" Sean had never taken a girl out before, but he knew a basic question such as this, at the very least. "Maybe I can cook while we're there. It's been a while, but I still know how."

For that matter, there were more current matters to attend to, but all he could think of was this outing with Aylin. "I could bring my haemonica, too. It should be fine since it's made of metal. Oh, before I forget, I should give this to you." Taking out a piece of paper, Sean wrote down his number and handed it to Aylin. "If you need anything at all, don't hesitate to call."

Aylin giggled again. His enthusiasm was invigorating. She could tell right away that he was attracted to her, and it was very flattering. He wasn't such a bad looker himself. Though despite his enthusiasm, cooking for her was no small task. She would eat large quantities of food, and with limited taste buds, she was usually unable to properly taste things. Still though she relished the idea.

"Well, I Don't have classes on that day either so why don't we make a day of it? we can get out there early, goof around in the water. after lunch I can have a little nap in the sun, and then we can keep goofin off until you get bored of me." She joked as she gave him a little nudge with her hip, while taking the paper with his phone number. She wasted no time in pulling her phone out of her pullover pocket and jotting down the number into it and sending off a quick text to his cell so that he would have hers in turn.
