This place was strange. All of these building were different from the ones Koji was used to. The people dressed differently too. It was all rather disorienting for the small spirit, it made him homesick. Everywhere he looked, there was some reminder that he was someplace completely different.
It had been a week was sent here in a box, and after waiting a bit, it was too much for him, and broke out of it himself, setting off into this strange new environment. He had avoided the largest area with the tall stone towers, setting off into the are of many homes, as strange as they looked.
”These people live like the electricity they surround themselves with. Fast and impulsive. They take little time to gain peace of mind, body, and spirit.” He said, kneeling on the roof of a building, taking the time to meditate and think over what had happened, as he did every day.
”Yet even they, as swiftly as they live, have a residence. Without one, I am but a rōnin, wandering without honor. I must find someone worthy of my devotion, and dedicate myself thoroughly.” He finished getting up, picking up his true form, a wooden kendo sword, and once more tying it to his back before taking off, hopping along the rooftops.
Out of the corner of his eye, he spotted something however, causing him to stop. This was familiar to him. The architecture put him at ease, and at once, he understood where he must go. The gaps between his mask flickered with sparks, betraying his excitement, the air around him becoming charged. He began to move once more, his movement brimming with purpose. Koji quickly found himself in front of the gate, staring up at the wooden doors.
”Faltering now would be a folly, as I have already come so far.” He thought, attempting to reach for the knocker, his arm failing to reach. After several attempts, he lept up, hanging on with both hands. Pushing himself off the door with his feet, he made 3 resounding thuds that echoed through the wood before letting go.
