Ember stood at the entrance to the forest. The air was brisk, but it felt nice. The sun was setting, setting off a pinkish-yellow glow to the school and the trees. Inside, Ember was bouncing with anxiety, just waiting to solve the mystery with Nitar, to help her out and solve her forgotten past.

Nitar before she came out got her bag that held many things in it, that were the items she found in her room, like the sketch book with the many pictures in it. Then she was with Ember at the entrance of the forest, she hoped they would find the place where she woke up at, it would make her very happy to know.

She looked at Ember and smiled. "Thank you... that your helping me find my memory." She said to Ember, happily.

There was a feeling of happiness and somethign else Ember couldn't place when she actually realized what she was doing. She shrugged with a smile and said, "It's not problem." She was a bit nervous, the constant thought of 'what if' but she had ot be brave, couldn't turn back now. She took a deep breath and held out her hand for Nitar. "You ready?"

Nitar took Ember's hand and smiled again and nodded. "Yes, I am..." She said looking at the forest. In there somewhere was her past, locked away. She stared thinking like if something went wrong, that would make her sad, but she tried to ignore these thoughts, and she took a step forward into the forest.

Ember gave a hopefull smile when Nitar took her hand. "Then let's go!" she said, heading into the forest. The first few steps into the forest, her head was, again, buzzing with 'what ifs'. What if they were attacked by some wild creature? Ember could take care of that, hopefuly. What if they found the cottage but the answer wasn't what they expected. It didn't matter. Ember wouldn't stop until she found the truth. She was persistent like that.

The deeper she went into the forest, the darker it became. The trees' branches must've blocked the light of the sun, though it was evening and the sun would disappear soon anyway. As she walked, she asked Nitar, "Do you remember anything from your ride to the Academy? Anything that could help us figure out in which direction we should go?"

As they walked her thoughts were turning to a whole bunch of things like if she found her memory, would she be happy? Or sad? She continued to think this in till Ember asked a question, and she had to think a bit. He couldn't really remember what she saw going through the forest that day, she didn't really pay attention. She looked around the trees, then her eyes rested on a huge oak tree.

She let go of Embers hand and she ran to the tree, and then looked around remembering something about the ride. She looked to her left, and smiled. "I remember coming from over there." She said pointing to her left.

As Ember continued to think while walking, Nitar answered her question after quickly thinking about it. She had spottec something. An Oak tree. She let go of Ember's hand and rushed over to the tree. Nitar had looked at it then claimed that she came from the left. That's the direction they should go. Ember nodded, not needing to disagree, she was relying completely on Nitar and how much she coyuld remeber from the ride to the Academy.

"Okay," She said turning towards the left. The night had already arrived, so the forest was quite dark to walk through. To help, Ember picked up a thing medium sized branch and lit the top of it with a simple blow. She now had a torch to help light the way. "Hey, Nitar. I was just wondering, are you absolutely sure you want to go find Eldon? Not that I want to go back or anything, trust me I love adventures. I just hope you're ready for anything that might come our way, okay?"

She followed Ember, and watched as she made a torch. Her powers most be fire, Nitar thought, then she listened to what was directed at her, and she thought for a bit before replying. "I think Eldon is the only one who can tell me who I was, before forgetting everything." She said looking ahead, her eyes darkened.

"I've been ready for almost two months." She said, still looking ahead.

Ember looked at her torch and Nitar spoke, blowing at it occasionally to keep it bright. Nitar was ready to face Eldon, and she would stick by her the entire way. "I guess you've figured out my power is fire." She said looking at Nitar and giving a smile. "What's yours?"

Nitar nodded. "Yes I guessed that, it seems like a nice power, mine is telekinesis..." She said and a few twings and leaves were picked up and floated around Nitar, but they dropped after about ten seconds. "It's handy, just when I get angry they sometimes go wild, and I can't control it."
