Hello, members of SA! We've got some exciting news for you, news that I know a lot of people have been excitedly waiting for.
Starlit Avenue, the revamp site, will officially launch March 30th.
On the 30th, SAv1 will disable registration (old members will continue to be able to log in), and we'll officially shift our focus to the new site. We'll put up a notice at the top of the site that the site exists primarily as an archive, and that our playerbase can be found over at Starlit Avenue, with a link. Over on the new site, we'll kick off our launch event, and let people officially start to roleplay.
Ahead of the 30th, though, we've got some other stuff happening. The admins have officially finished their beta test, and posted (and gotten approved) their first characters. The mods and guides are currently in process (some have posted and been approved, some are still working on it). As of this posting, our supporters are being brought into the new site as well, to let them read over everything and officially post their first characters.
Starting tomorrow, registration will be enabled on the new site for our open beta test. This will let people post their first character (first character only), and get them approved ahead of launch. If you've been holding off on a custom template you wanted to make, now is the time. As we go through these betas, the list of existing templates will continue to expand as needed, with new abilities and templates being created and added in. We'll have dedicated channels for the revamp over on our discord, both for discussion, suggestions, bugs, and template related matters.
We've seen quite a bit of interest in seeing our current templates, so we thought we'd open those up to you now. You can see them (and a whole lot more) over on Starlit Avenue.
